Buzz Of The Bee
You were at a picnic, dressed in lace.
In this magical,nature place.
The melody of the buzzing bees.
And green,evergreen trees.
The bees buzzed, and the clouds unite.
Picnic on this field and watching the stars at night.
The sound of them buzzing, fuzzes in your head.
It keeps on blurring the negative thoughts in your head.
I wonder,is that sound fallen from grace?
Or is it from an entirely different place?
Is it from an entirely different race?
Or is that a smile on your face?
I have so many regrets.
But...

The rose
Renewal is abound
Rising up from the heels of decay
to carry the life of the ancients
where beauty prevails as a constant
I ride the wind with the wren
as a seed, soliciting the fray in the womb
Flitting from mountain to valley
before settling on a parcel
unblemished by the relics of the departed
I’ve readied my roots
to release the lore of my existence
Seducing the fragments of design
to imbue my soul to the soil
Tendrils of resilience weaving my foundation
I forge my stalk...

Flower Garden
It was a day full of work and woe.
You got up and walked through the door.
As you walked home on the path astray.
You spotted something, a garden far away.
You walk over and try to see.
What you want to see and be.
It was like a sea of color.
With blooms like no other.
The petals danced like ballerinas in the sun.
Like a million sunrays having fun.
The flowers danced gracefully - red, purple, red.
With colors like gold,silver.
Like a cozy nature bed.
When you gasped in surprise, and realised what you said. ...

Sweet Idleness
When i laze the day away, as a cloud afloat
In the sky's blue fields, sails like the snow
Is when i love to be heard living, carefree
Ffar from the dusty tracks, sitting permanently
'Pon a mellow canvas, of moss and fern,
Lying on forest cool edge, the soft sunburn
Only to kill time and keep eyeing the ant
Whose mind on the foe winter, is ever bent
That...

Seasons
I think,that spring is great.
Blooming flowers,fruit on your plate.
With magical colors in the petals and sky.
You just watch it unfold and don't ask why.
Summer is right over the bend.
And the summer heat,warmth ascend.
Yet it is the perfect way.
To get out of your house and eat icecream all the way.
With the sun shining bright.
And the summer being a longer night.
Summer never ceases to fascinate me.
Whether you are on a vacation far away.
Or if you are reading a book on a sunny day.
Autumn is...

BEACHED GRAY WHALE AT DUSK (sometime around 1984-1985; while walking along the beach in Cardiff By the Sea, California)
a great spirit s vessel
lies broken before me here
breached breathless
beached lifeless
still present in form
but whose presence
of spirit and being s life essence
in abscence here now
is completely gone
i can only find and take
some relative comfort and solace
to help alleviate
to help lighten
my heavy grief
by my simultaneously imagining
in this dark weighty moment
it s sweet gentle beautiful soul
perhaps breaching anew
even here now
free...

Baby Mine is still the saddest song in Dumbo
when I was a kid,
I had a rock tumbler
I’d pack it with beach stones
listening to the thing whir and crunch
for a month until I excitedly
unscrewed the cap
sieving off the thick granite slurry
to reveal my polished agates.
I kinda feel like my spine makes
the same noise these days
every morning it cracks
like a mother fucking glow stick
that refuses to actually glow
every morning I sit in the shower
washing off sweat and sleep ...

Mutated Menagerie (collab with AfterSexDilemma)
We have all become mutations
Tested
Experimented with
horrifying results
Evolution has multiple ways through life
never a single one
Evolution is the alternative
for any existence
You were another in my garden
searching for that seed of birth
to grow onto and evolve
together as one, on earth.
Looking for life through deep space
Visions so vast
Light years from the human race
On that infinite road, we see planet ZYX13 up ahead
Orange and pinkish gases
Our space suits equipped, so we...

The Clotilda (A Day in the Swamp)
When the darkness of my night
provides no shelter from my storms,
I'll use my sunshine to spend a day in the swamp,
to wash my blues away clear to the ocean.
I'll make ripples in the water
on a borrowed boat
running the banks and
exploring the feeder creeks,
while turtles dive from their logs and
alligators smile as they slide into the murky water.
But you'll never see the Clotilda,
not even at low tide
I'll watch tiny orchids bloom,
talk to the cypress trees,
listen to...

Step Outside Once In A While
Unrecognized in my own time
too old to be young, too dull for
golden sublime, real poets
now out flows a small swig of wine,
and I draw smoke
tall, yellow, white, burning
bellows painting my coat
I listen to
streets roar, children laugh,
dogs bark, some woman hailing a cab
a brush hits blank page and it starts,
the world cracks
and it's innards gush
I run and I crash with the fumes
of it's must,...

Let the Rough Side Drag -- with Ms. LaCarte
The sound of leather stretching
adjusting to my grip,
my hand,
my dig of heel
But the power behind it...
It is beyond me
above me and greater
even than what is underneath me
I am warming the rosin,
sticking me to my guns
apprehending a nod
signaling the chute release
the scent of roughstock rising from my own skin
its potency slack with submission
respect,
repentance,
in an absurd chapel
That caters to the wild
and unruly,
the drunken and unseemly
Who come forth to...
adjusting to my grip,
my hand,
my dig of heel
But the power behind it...
It is beyond me
