HARD OR SOFT...WHICH?
MY
mind and attention
was on something
else when I heard
the question:
"Hard or soft?"
Back to reality,
I asked, "What?"
The question again
as my hand was touched
"Do you prefer hard or soft?"
"OH,
please, I prefer my eggs
hard boiled," I said
to the waiter.
"Mine too," the waiter replied.

AS
the dark clouds
hover overhead and
the drummer beats out
the tunes of thunder,
and the lightening players
keep beat with the beauty
of the moment.

the midst of the beauty of
nature's concert, raindrops
dance softly in the puddles
of water,

to a love message from

All of his friends & father knew it and gave him a hard time
He couldn't go anywhere without her inviting herself along

TODAY
I dare to expose
the secrets in my heart;
I fearlessly let YOU in
to see my love.

words I write
flow from my honest
heart and soul;
nothing is hidden;
poetry reveals my feelings.
A skeptic may ask, "Why

mind may ask, the answer is

the whims of human logic.

AS
the wind gently telegraphs
the message from my
soul and heart to you;
feel the innocence of my
love and desire for you
to be happy and fulfilled.
AS
the raindrops tap dance in
a lover's code on the roof,
feel the silence of my love
that has ridden the wilds
of the storms to get to you..
LISTEN
to the silence it is loudly

You probably see what the photographer photographed
A variety of liquor bottles ready for purchase and consumption
I sorta see that too
Many see this image and think of people partying, having a good time,
getting drunk and maybe fucking their lover or some total stranger,
alcohol has that effect
Many people use it to relax after a hard days work or school
Some may see alcohol as a crutch, a friend,

A SINGING HEART
In the ebb and flow of life
love runs hot and cold;
It'll chase you when you're young
and neglect you when you're old.
I do not know WHY
love acts in such mysterious ways.
but it's the challenges you gladly accept
and the price you'll gladly pay.
So do not be upset or surprised
when love starts to do its thing;
treat it like you want to be treated,
and it'll give your heart and new song to sing.
Meet me at the Kissing Place and our
hearts will dance and sing a duet.

HEAT ON A COLD NIGHT
MR.
Winter has snuck
up quickly on us.
The furnace was not
lit for the sudden arrival.
BUT
we grasped the opportunity
to crawl under the covers
with our naked bodies pressed into
a heated oneness.
HOT
kisses, roaming hands,
and sharing inspired poems
in soft suggestive stanzas
in each other's ears turned
the temperature higher.
THE
heat on this cold night
created a world aglow with
heat and boiling passion.
We whispered to each other:
"Let it snow...please all night." ...

Invoke Happiness
I stabbed myself repeatedly in the stomach about 3 times
there was no pain
there was no blood
instead, a greenish black goo oozed out onto the floor
A sign of relief
I was eradicating all negative energy from my body
this built up from years of anger, hostility, rage, hatred, tension and bitterness
surrounding yourself with people who bring you down
make a change, create and release the positive vibes within
associate with like minded individuals who love to invoke happiness
there was no pain
there was no blood
instead, a greenish black goo oozed out onto the floor

world is in a mad dash
or insane rush to have
desires and longings fulfilled.

human self cannot wait for
