Purple caffeine girl
Is jogging suit espresso
Become my morning coffee
That awakens my senses
To her azalea stroll

Morning Moon
I saw the moon last night,
full face, festive and glowing.
When the sun rose,
it was as if he had
just changed bar stools.
He looked weary,
pale, and hungover.
Overall, he looked
bewildered.
When I stepped outside this
afternoon,
he'd wandered off
probably to bed.
Possibly dreaming of wolves,
howling in the night.
full face, festive and glowing.
When the sun rose,
it was as if he had
just changed bar stools.
He looked weary,
pale, and hungover.
Overall, he looked
bewildered.
When I stepped outside this

he'd wandered off
probably to bed.
Possibly dreaming of wolves,
howling in the night.

A Day Of Consequence
I woke up late this morning, alarm’s silent call,
And scrambled through chaos, the house bore it all.
In haste, I ran wild, made a mess as I sped,
Rushing to work while I felt like the dead.
Missed the bus because I’d forgotten my phone,
Had to run back, feeling cold to the bone.
Late to my office I got a angry stare,
For a day going south, it was too much to bear.
In a foul mood I shouted, at people who I knew,
Leaving me colder, alone with the blue.
And worse it became, as my troubles amassed,
Thinking two clocks...

Paradise Sunrise
It’ll be here any minute
When I see the light
Going to run towards a
Paradise Sunrise
Got a bag packed
Full of letter seeds
Ready to bloom on the
Fields of my skin
Got my aviator
Ray-Ban glasses on
Sun beam guitar strings
Awakening with a yawn
Nourishing my spring
Of rose petal skin
Sprouting a garden
Creating words to sing
Arranged to set sail
Upon a sun stream trip
Infiltrating the dead of night
So it can feel the life of a
Paradise Sunrise
When I see the light
Going to run towards a
Paradise Sunrise
Got a bag packed
Full of letter seeds
Ready to bloom on the
Fields of my skin
Got my aviator

Morning
Morning blossomed softy
unfurling its lemony petals
spreading them slowly
to sleepy meadows
and sombre sky
radiance of its beauty
nudged us from our dreams
and cast a serene glow
that was untouched and pure
brightening up every object and being
with its stream of red and golden hues revealing its splendor to those
who cared to watch it bloom
Unfolding gently, growing in beauty ...
unfurling its lemony petals
spreading them slowly
to sleepy meadows
and sombre sky
radiance of its beauty
nudged us from our dreams
and cast a serene glow
that was untouched and pure
brightening up every object and being
with its stream of red and golden hues revealing its splendor to those
who cared to watch it bloom
Unfolding gently, growing in beauty ...

I’d come to love the midweek crush
never the traffic
but the way fingers held
a freshly rolled cigarette
broad nails around tea mugs
that curled knuckles beneath
century-old sweaters
the way perfection
became seamlessly interwoven
with a neurotic brand of intimacy
how we fell into each other
bones and all
through the gravity of our dark
but the way fingers held

Not Quite Haiku
I
June
opens her
eyes...
butterfly
wings
fluttering...
scenting
the breeze
with summer
II
Tide of
stars
in sky
She/he is
a bottle
of saki...
her/his plums
intoxicate

Time to Leave
Facing the moon
silhouetted against grey mountains
a figure alone
without company
the day is done
seasons circle
as in autumn
leaves falling to the ground
tears as dew on leaves
falling, moistening the ground
and memories divine
just fading away
like ghosts departing before dawn
leaving nothing but faint whispers
murmured words breathed on mirrors
heavens don’t ever get dark
leave me a passage
with guiding lights.

On Waking
You must have known
I was sleeping naked
The spare key,
I guess it wasn't hard to find
I thought it was a dream
but I opened my eyes
to that feeling
And that gentle bounce
guiding me deeper
And I thought,
such a wise girl
to treat me to that
Wake me right
sneaking in at night
Firing off the day
that perfect way
I was sleeping naked
The spare key,
I guess it wasn't hard to find
I thought it was a dream
but I opened my eyes
to that feeling
And that gentle bounce
guiding me deeper
And I thought,

Wake me right

Firing off the day

The Days of the Week
The Days of the Week
Each
Calendar
Starts
On its very
Own day.
Mine
Just
Begins
In its very
Own way.
Two
Taco
Tuesdays
For chicken
Take outs,
Two to
Eat there
And one
That just
Shouts.
Wednesdays
It's clear
That it's
All
My fault,
All my fault
Wednesdays
Is when
All wounds
Get salt.
Thursdays
It's back up
And all
Is
Reverse,
And then...

Morning Promise
The trees danced to the wind,
waving hello, as the earthy
fragrance of dew sneaked in.
All, enwrapping me in a hug,
while whispering of life
and a morning promise
of a better day.
waving hello, as the earthy
fragrance of dew sneaked in.
All, enwrapping me in a hug,
while whispering of life
and a morning promise
of a better day.

The art of the craft
In the quest to unraveling, an revealing the understanding of the unknown, venturing into the realms of the forgotten knowledge and ancient wisdom of old, heading down paths so cold in different directions, with no warmth or any heat to help comfort the soul, yet we persevere forward in pursuit of power and control, some sort of reassurance or even a strong hold, over the art of the craft, performances, pictures, artwork, books, films, even stories have been told, yet even within science and math all done seeking to acquire to master the art of the craft.
