Thee Underclass
It was thee 18th century, and I was just a mere vagabondus.
I couldn't hold down a job, I think one week was my longest!
With a peaky blinders cap and my waistcoat on tight,
I would wander thee streets at night, drunk, and get into fights.
It was thee old days of Landan, full of buskers and harlots.
Staggering past thee beggers, on thee way to thee market.
I met a Dorris called Charlotte, going past on her horse and cart,
She offered me a lift and asked where I'd like to depart?!
She was talking all jargon about nobility,...

Reflections
Rotten is the mind that thinks of the nice
When pain is the place that leads us to see
And not be blind, in the kind
Of way that we shy and hide
But fight online
And cry in our mum’s house
On the sly and rewind
Back to the man who’s
Outward and kind
For half a week
Until we speak
With a beer and a high five
With a
Miscellaneous man
At a the bar with a tie
And a good suit and a fine
Way of thinking
Fucking why am I
Trying to please these geezer
Who I wouldn’t give the time
In a day to...

Bar Mitzvah Rituals of the Maltese Brotherhood
Bar Mitzvah Rituals of the Maltese Brotherhood
“Hey there Sherri, the fly of my son’s undies has a stain that just won’t come out. Can you work your magic and remove it?”
“Come again, isn’t he eighteen? Shouldn’t he be past that stage?”
“Don’t I wish, eighteen is the peak of their hormones.”
“Is this the same kind you had me scrub until my fingers were red last time?”
“It is only the aloe cucumber lotion. He took his underwear off before achieving ‘O’.”
“How do you know it is just lotion? Surely he didn’t tell you.”
“Believe me the scent...

God f**k Ye Merry Gentlemen
I could tell Jo had been drinking whilst writing her Xmas Cards, on catching sight of my enveloped address. It tilted like a capsizing ship.
Jo’s perennial greetings seemed to mark a gradual descent into an alcoholic abyss. Her reputation as a ‘party-girl’ at College had been built on an appetite for drinking. Jo’s nickname, The Dentist, reflected her ability to offer simultaneous blow-jobs.
She disliked the moniker at the time, and as the years unfolded, she grew to harbour resentment towards its continued use. In the manner of things, the more she protested, the...

THE RAPTURE IS AT HAND: THE DRYING UP OF THE RIVER EUPHRATES IS THE SIGN !!
The Rapture will involve people dying - mass death.
Nobody will go up without dying. Forget what your pastor told you.
He doesn't know (and may not even care?)
We read that the Rapture is somehow connected to the River Euphrates(Revelation 9.14-15).
It doesn't say the Rapture explicitly.
But it does speak of "the hour and the day" which is code for the Rapture.(Because when Christ spoke of "the hour and the day," (Matt.24.36)
He was referring to the time of THE RAPTURE.
(Later on we read of "the Euphrates drying up" (Rev.16.12).

Today's Countenance
If the television set is to be believed then representatives of the fair sex are now expected to air brush away all traces of perceived wretchedness from their very own visages while the troglodytic male members of our species may lounge about with no care whatsoever regarding their manly facial flaws or beard bound meal chunks. I'm sure all that is fair somehow...but I don't see it.
True love, as hot as a panful of Neruda verse, never requires such artificial bracings and cupid's dart will not always wait for my lady's face.
Things are now dangerously informal...

Nosebleed
I don't think I'm angry enough...
Road raging drunks
Demanding sovereignty of the road
I didn't ask for conflict
I just wanted to get home
My son.
Still a child. 17...
My child.
I insisted that he stay.
Following my own advice
Still haunts me everyday
I can smell the man's beer breath
On my upper lip
I can taste his putrid hate
Every time that he spits
My forehead still Burns
From when he pushed his to mine
It throbs like a bomb
In need of more time
Words were exchanged, it's all now...

OPEN BOOK (Melancholia With a Side of Anxiety: The Breakfast of Champions)
i've always just pulled it out of bed
no matter how dark it got
and dragged it through the day
regardless of how beat down
and miserable i was
because that's what i was taught a man does
it's as though being broken inside
is some sort of sin against
the gods of masculinity --
a sign of unforgivable weakness --
because a man doesn't whine or coddle himself
but carries his own weight and walks the pain off
and does what he's got to do
and that, my friend, is that
and so some of us self medicate...
