THE LITTLE ROSES ARE RED MEMORY
IT
is amazing how
a memory can out
of the blue pop up from
the memory computer
in your mind.
THIS
morning out of the blue
an old verse I wrote years
ago in high school popped
up. I sent it to a girl I had
a crush on (she had no idea)
IT READS:
"Roses are red,
violets are blue;
I bet you can't guess
Who in class likes you?"
GUESS
what would I write today?
Meet me at the KISSING PLACE
and I will write:
"Roses are read
and violets are blue;

The sweet force of each gentle kiss,
bestows a longing warmth in my deepest deep.
A dark gloss lacquers my mind,.
as pleading pleasure seeps
Into holes I was blindly unaware existed.
The flavor of your lips
absolutely cannot be resisted.
The warmth spread.

infusing with the elements
my soul altering with inflection
water refreshing my being
the dirt grounding me
fire charges me with energy
nature requires I answer her
it is my faith to care for the sentient spirits
