spring morning
Spring Morning
today, waking up, it was warmer, the winter
had been cold at times, freezing electric heating
is not for those with a slim wallet
Today, we will write pleasant poetry
not like the boy at the edge of his bed, his feet
not long enough to reach the floor, crying
for yet again losing his home because his mother
has tuberculosis, has to go to a sanatorium
his has to go living among strangers, he has to
be nice to and not be boisterous
Yes, pleasant thoughts, not letting bitterness seep
into this day...

a true sentence
A true sentence
As Hemingway said, start with a true sentence
the roof of the school building, I can see from
where I sit on a cloudy day is grey as lead
when lit up by sunlight that has broken through
the clouds, it turns silvery and pleasant to see
That is, a true sentence about what I see, but it
is not what I'm thinking is a love story that
began a summer's day, lasted with its drama
when days got shorter and the wind bitter
leaves shrunk and fell on a rainy street
The true sentence is the gripping sadness
the knowledge...

his women
His women
All my life, I have done my best in avoiding to be a father
The reason was to avoid the drudgery of married life
That brings us to Elon Musk and his many children
Some of them through the natural way others conceived
artificially, as he believes in building a stronger who can
tackle the future, I agree with EM there is much
Tainted blood in the world
I think of his many women if they do not love him
It must be of financial benefit for them to secure them
From poverty, Fair enough, but does this make them
A more moral...

The Power of Poetry
Every little word means so much,
Faithful and true but words aren't enough,
Line after line,
It's comfort I find,
Page after page,
Released from a cage,
Word after word,
Let's reverse this hurt,
Every poem I manage to create,
Builds a new house that's great,
Without words what would we say?
Help me find a brighter day,
When the earth is shaking I write,
When I don't feel like waking I hide,
The broken pieces keep on breaking,
Every life is worth saving,
You dont have to be perfect to live, ...
Faithful and true but words aren't enough,
Line after line,
It's comfort I find,
Page after page,
Released from a cage,

When I don't feel like waking I hide,

you don't think about it much
not when everything still hurts
what happens after
you focus on the pain
bruises...burns...& fractures
on getting through that day
& the next
trying to understand what went wrong
was it you...or them
or a toxic combination
but when wounds stop aching
& shadows fall back
horizon looking a little brighter
that's when possibility presents itself
& your head tips to one side
in silent contemplation

glasses
glasses
On my desk, the driving glasses, a 15-year-old is in a right
mood for it has been a struggle
for the glasses to be
accepted again after I bought a new pair that cost me a fortune
The state of the art frame,
yet useless, but I will not buy new ones.
My old glasses
purchased in a small shop that had no pretensions of being unique as
master of Spectacles,
alas, you have to tell people you are wonderful and apex and that
cannot be surpassed or not, people avoid you and go for the
liers and cheats in suits.
I fell for...

A Word From Death
So,” Death says.
“Yes, please, now. I have the courage now.”
The tremor in my voice betrays me.
I hold out my hand. Pleading.
The blackness under Death’s hood watches me.
They say nothing.
It means everything.
“Just let them find out gently. Please let them heal well, and we - I - will just… go. Now. Get ahead of the rush.”
My arm aches from begging for their hand.
“Please. I will go back to being a coward soon. But right now. Right now you can take me. Willingly.”
My throat has...

mama dilemma

I still hear laughter through the floorboards
& smile to myself
even as my heart constricts
...for a long painful moment
the sound doesn't ring quite as true
...slightly fractured...
it's the thing that makes a mother flinch...
she was in love...giddy with it
sighing over her coffee
smiling secretly as she washed dishes
it's been a rough few years
filled with isolation...medications...changes
retreating from a world no longer welcoming
I wanted more than anything for this to be her bliss ...

To John
Life is harder than you thought. Shit’s hit the fan on multiple occasions. You’ve almost let it affect your character, and to be honest, on some occasions it has. The drinking, weed, it’s all to drown out any form of feeling.
But what about the good ones?
What about the feelings that bring you so much joy? Why drown those? What about the feelings of togetherness and friendship, the people who value you for you? What about them? Why lose pieces of yourself in a bottle, pill, or bong? It takes pieces of you, all of which may or may not return.
They call me. ...

To My Grandmother
Throughout the past couple of months, I’ve been watching my grandmother’s health fluctuate vastly. I enter her room and don’t know whether to expect a natural or forced smile. I’ve seen tears roll down her face as she tries to remain strong, knowing her time is limited. The pain has become simply unbearable. I find myself weak in these moments. Something so important to me but far outside of my ability to help.
So what do you do?
Do you sit back and watch as the woman who has shown you nothing but love since birth die? Do you acknowledge the reality and make the most...

News and friends
She sends me photos of people I don’t know, not one or two but too many; why should I take any interest in people smiling at the camera
What is flabbergasting is why does she sends me photos of friends she has on another continent, from a place I do not wish to know
She is a tiring person into healthy things, tea drinking, and beneficial cacao from a plant in Burma, either that or she has few real friends
We read of a mountain village where dwellers have learned to live in peace with bears that roam the streets after dark, looking for sweet food

Beautiful
And there it is
the essence
a primal cry
that we exist
serene
pristine
pure
how we are meant to be
only fall short
of the goal
to pick ourselves up
and stand
within the storm
of humanity
