We Are The People
Racial Discrimination
Bigotry it’s sad correlation
Such an unpleasant topic since the beginning of creation
Even the narration
Has been society’s own downfall castration
These words have never gotten the props of a backseat stagnation
To despise coloration of one’s skin is a mental sickness infestation
No jest or reasons for this unfair formulation
The ancestry history of blacks caught, and netted
Future landed to be sweated
Savagely molested
American is still indebted ...

Black Lives Matter demanding voices to be
I hope as the writer you come to feel me
And of course, your life matters too
As an embodied society protect my human rights, give me my just due
Police brutally has always plagued the humanity of the black race
From DWB, racial profiling, to the spray of facial Mace
Illustrating the hushed concept
Your life is less than mine this will be forgiven, behind my badge American citizens shall soon forget
Your fallacies to judge presence, not upon skin color as a body who stands...

Creatively crafted lies
Invisibly undisguised
If their mouth could've only heard how it sounded through my eyes
Exaggerations sensationalized
The comprised replies from the unwise
No change in tune it's a reprise from all that's contrived and described in the script flipped

I am not okay
Sometimes telling me that everything is going to be okay just does not sit well in my soul
You see its very easy to roll those words off your tongue with ease as I sit uneasy in this situation that I am currently in.
Recite the lords prayer over and over until my mind becomes numb to these issues that are flooding my mind
While cursing myself out for being or rather feeling too weak to endure a continuous cycle of disappointment.
Am I supposed to continue to weather this storm?
Reach out my hands to up high and beg for repentance for the sins that I knew I was going...

An empath
I am an observer.
I keep on giving.
I watch as the world passes by.
You just go on living your life,
but I see all the hurt.
From the lonely squirrel up in the tree,
looking down in sadness at his friend lifeless in the street.
I looked up and we locked eyes,
some how we had brief moment of understanding.
I too have felt loss
and looked at this big world and suddenly never felt more alone and lost.
Despite all the people and creatures around,
my heart ache and falling tears seemed to be the only sound....
