I've been writing on and off for years...I have joined different poetry sites but I haven't remained on them for long...so I guess I'll see where this goes. I am not what people may expect I don't have an exact type of poem I write I just write whatever is on my mind. One of my favorite poets was actually Maya Angelou even though I have yet to sit down and read many of her poems. I loved and respected what she stood for, there was no limit to her writing. I used to read Edgar Allen Poe, his writing was pretty dark and disturbing but it is unforgettable. I respect everyones writing because to some extent I do not see myself as one.
