Livers lose
A concious state of mind
Mind the step don't miss it
Freedom from a numb sadistic
That dense state of mind
or mind of the state
blast it I self actuate
self-afflicted crimes astray
Sinister sins a sinister gate
And somewhere I'm immaculate
Where my legs been?
Deep until the pegstand
cut off the legs been
Reality or realty
they're squealing for cash
and feeling the rash
A gradual disconnect from this, really
And though I missed them
what answers best, I do confess
I miss remorse,...

Of Death And Birth: Fire And The Rose
We die with the dying:
See, they depart and we go with them.
We are born with the dead:
See, they return, and bring us with them.'
-T. S. Elliot
I
The way of ignorance is the way home:
Go, go! Folly is the only way;
knowledge is the unlearning of itself.
Do not try harder, try less;
this is the only way, the unpropitious one.
(Love is the only lesson that can't be learned.)
The Sky and The Earth agree:
I end where I began,
the way there...
See, they depart and we go with them.
We are born with the dead:
See, they return, and bring us with them.'

Cemetary Walk In November
This is what it is to be complete,
it is horrible.’
-Sylvia Plath
Kicking through leaves
the whitened stones unannounce themselves
to rushing air, quiet, unreckoned,
pandering to a deceased moment
which endlessly repeats its
howling, repentant song.
I am never coming back, it says,
who would, not here, not ever.
Underfoot I notice trampled clothes
and a belt, an opened packet of something,
a whiskey bottle freezes gradually to
the patchy ground.
How unholy, lifes...

One Autumn Night
I’m sitting alone in this damp street
No one but me and the moonbeams
Stars are shyly showing off their dazzling charm
The wind is passionately touching the tree’s silhouette
I'm silently watching them dancing to my mute melancholy
My volcano is strangely so wise tonight
My earthquake is finally constant
My tsunami is completely dry
No damaged fantasy
No query for a smashed memory
October’s moon is so plump
No more you within its sheen
I know, it’s a...

THE LENGTH OF THE TRIBULATION
Let me say what i've said for several years:
"5 months" (Revelation 9.5,10) as the length of the TRIB.
Fundies hold onto "3.5 years"(Daniel 7.25) or even 7 years -- even though Christ
clearly said He will "shorten" the TRIB(Matthew 24.22).
Apparently, the Bible in the form of Dan.7.25 carries more weight with them than the words of Christ's own mouth !!! Putting the Bible above Christ, WOW !!
Aren't the Fundies committing that same offense as the Jews of Christ's time ??!!
PS: i need to clarify something.
The Second Coming...

Sacred Contracts XXXVIII: Gene Pool
Autumn is chameleon in nature;
a barely perceptible paradigm shift
birthed from the death
of all that is blatantly overt
Mutation is subtle, a non combative
surrender to the natural cycle it brings
We who resist will stumble
typically over our own feet
attempting to mold circumstance
to personal need
Live, let Life present itself;
happiness belongs to those
who understand release ...

Seduction in the Orange Groves
In rows of citrus trees the workers tend
My fam’ly’s enterprise a century.
Among Valencia where I would fend,
And since I came of age they all could see—
The girl-turned-woman child is like an orange,
With flesh as smooth & scented of its bloom.
Don’t ever taste the skin of burnished orb;
Must leave the tree, deny of its perfume.
They also knew the foreman had his sight
To pluck the succulent from off the tree.
He could not reckon such a dare would bite,
How willingly to tempt the Fates was he.
Yet to his nerve...

Swallows on the phone-lines
Crab tree berries turning red
summer halfway gone
fecund September ripening,
evenings early now
fledglings on bird-tables
rutting stags in Richmond Park
few hedge-row trees remain
since tractors ripped away
branches once a home for hawks.
I see swallows on the wires
messages loud and clear
' We're on our way to Africa'
see you all next year',
Orange and gold, yellow,red
carpets until...

A Week That Was
Saturday
1.
I'm loath to comb the
morning tangles
from my long dark hair
2.
watching birds scatter
the shadows of
hot air balloons
3.
showering—
connect constellations of
freckles on his shoulders
4.
writing this haiku
before bedtime
the fridge faintly humming
Sunday
1.
early morning walk—
incontinent ladies
