What lies on the mountain’s other side
The journey to the peak
Arduous and long
Hillside the wind carries a song
At the top
Just beyond the clouds
Over the ice and snow caps
Only the silence howls on
The valleys lead toward
Cliffs and higher plains
Rare flowers bloom
Peeking in the sunlight
From within stone cracks
Deer and goats roam
Sunlight warmth
Upon their backs
The path to the top
The highest icy pinnacle
Climbers try to find
While paying no mind
To the vast thriving warm sun soaked
Abundant wilderness
all...

has privilege poisoned us
contaminated the water
in our pipe dreams
driving us to hate our neighbors
cause the HOA said
you didn't trim your flowers right

gold our false idol
pull up your boots
tie them up tight
it's all up to you
missed the bus couldn't pay the rent
living in a tent outside an abandoned school

my sister has rules
row yourself up the river
cover your face bind your hands
walking through a street of fools
listen to the poor rich man...

We tore the last tree down
burned butterfly wings
pretended things
would be Ok
We joined the queue

She Will Take It Back
Mother Earth,
She will take it back,
The patriarchal society will soon come to an end,
It’s brought nothing but tyranny, war and famine,
It will give way to something new,
Something beautiful,
As a new generation rises in the horizon.
I hear their voices,
I see their eyes,
They stand up against the big political industrial machine,
They speak their minds calling for change,
Because the future is theirs.
One by one, their light comes up over the east,
With powerful narrative and imagery as they to walk the earth, ...
She will take it back,

Dunkelflaute
Doom laden skies held, not one breath, of wind
Under the achromatic mantle, torpidity binged
No turbine turned, there was no sunlight power
Kismet ordained, to drain, every megawatt hour
Eerie evenings, turned countrysides, into tundra
Lights burned bright, until the blackouts umbra
From the murk, came night and the cloying cold
Listlessly lingering, from the valley, to the wold
And dawn would seep, then creep, into each day
Unfolding itself into the simplicity, of bitter grey
Though time inexorably passed, beneath the veil

~the wretched state of a state.. & of it’s heartmindbodysoul
the tarred highways
are gateways to hell
..garbages & sewage
in a clogged stagnation
on either stigmatic sides
.. an obnoxious whirlpool
this
wretched nation
buzzing more often
with ominous sirens
of ambulances in
misfortune carriages
of those dying.. haplessly
accelerated to death
in those obstinately
stuck traffic congestion
that is shamelessly
hungering blood
with it’s smoky choking
hot pollution & crowning
blacks of inhumanity

Moonlit Madness
There's a flagship that stole the moon
Dragged her through the mountains
Skewered its flank with a big harpoon
And the wolves cried in fountains
Why is the sun looking so grey now
It's missing the ghoulish messenger
Gravitating, orbitating little passenger
There's no night, all heads must bow
The blood of the astral body falls
Black splotches across the walls
After a while, anymals lay curled
Then blue waves consume the world
Has everybody gone insane?
Nobody rejoices at the destruction
Celebration...

Climate change
Will, with utmost certainty
Worsen
As the worlds' parasitic leaders
Continue to flagrantly ignore
Both the science, and reality
As they continue
To rape, and pillage
Our tiny planet village
Many small countries, making big changes
But
If the big countries don't make changes
Then whatever the minorities do
Will have little impact
On slowing down
The overall destruction

The billionaires are doubling down
no matter what we think
so certain now they wear the crown
with crisis on the brink.
They'll watch us burn, like Nero did,
all from their heaps of cash,
then have contractors underbid
on lots of smoking ash.
The New Year lost no time at all
to show us how it goes,
when ex-urban investment sprawl
burns faster than it grows...
all to teach us that in the deed
is where we've put our faith;
that no torch would convey our greed...
away like the portent...
no matter what we think
