Drunk Off Your Shit
These hangovers I cradle
Swaddle freely as a fable
My soul sweeps itself under a table
My will to live is no longer stable
My existence becomes a tramp
Vagrant’s firepits I camp
My sympathetic heart you vamp
Vile wickedness you stamp
You keep more secrets than a vault
Play the victim like it’s my fault
I fantasized about assault
But you aren’t worth it so I halt
My morning coffee has more bite
Jack does good, Jack does right
I Crown the Bull to give me flight
So I may escape this petty fight

Kneeling amid the ruins of what should have been,
haunted by the ghosts of what could have been,
holding the entrails of last years empty promises,
hoping and praying for more of the same.
Don't rock the boat, keep it a float, close your eyes and believe,
believe believe believe in our addiction to the lotus tree,
close the mind, empty the soul, of the doubts that we're not free,
that something is terribly terribly wrong with us
taking an eye for an eye until the whole world's blind,

Some have a drink problem

In his image

And he made me in

I would not be able to live

I already took lots of pain killers
And nothing worked
Yes I overdose on pain killers

These tears I expel
Exile me to solitude
I drown in my cell
Depraved of water and food
Uranus seems so close
But Mars is my home
Absorbed in secluded throes
I travel alone
Vultures swarm in circles
Awaiting my demise
They sync in rehearsal
Ready to pluck my eyes
I’m stranded on an island
Shipwrecked and left for dead
Thoughts of personal violence
Swim like sharks in my head
What’s the point of life
If I can’t live it with you
Slice my wrists with a knife
I’d rather Die
Then live my life ...
