And now a true story
My childhood friend Kirby and I once hypnotized a frog in the summer of 88. We found a rock on the lake's shoreline that looked like an emerald. We believed the rock had super powers. An hour later, we found the frog. We began rubbing the rock on the top of it's forehead. It was amazing. The frog was hypnotized. (We thought) We weren't sure though on how to unhyptnotize the frog. Instead, we kept the frog and fed it to Kirby's German Sheppard, named Bear. That was the 1st time his dog tasted frog! 'oui oui'
After Bear had lunch, we went inside to see Kirby's Grandma. This old...

Resistance
I’ve always had a rebellious streak. There have been times in my life when she was dampened, almost snuffed out, but thankfully, she’s persevered, like me. People have tried to tame her, I’ve tried to hide her, ignore her, at times I’ve been ashamed of her, and afraid of her. Stubborn thing that she is, there have been times when she liked to take control, and thank the universe for that. I’m quite sure she’s what helped saved my life. Many times. Now I embrace her, use her to my advantage. I’m learning when it’s appropriate to wield her power and when to give her a rest. And for those who...

innocence
sadness overcomes me and my inner woman fades
my voice within quiets and I retreat
part of me has no choice but to stay and feel the pain
everything silences, I feel so deeply
I've gotten the souls inside me, to sanctuary
it may seem strange but there are many that live within me
innocense being my soul child
a little being with keen observations of the world
I hear her talking to God
she always prays for me
leading the evening requests for beauty
she is curious about the world
too eager to know things

Unsullied
Yesterday.
I watched an infant seeing an overhead fan for the first time.
I could feel his innocence.
His amazement.
His observation without bias.
A consciousness but not yet a mind.
Devoid of conditioning.
Uncluttered, unfettered, un everything.
Joy without thought.
And I wondered.
Where did my wonder go?
My awe go?
Oh there it is.
In the Birdsong.
In the sound in a conch.
In the trees,the sky,the grasshopper.
It never left.
Just got covered by adulthood.

LIFE IS A ROAD TRIP
No matter
when or where
we made our
advent into
the world;
we began a
journey down,
or up, the
road of life.
Along the way
"101" ups and
downs meet us
on our journey.
We have tried
to extend life
with pills and tucks,
but the journey
on life's road continues;
it gets faster the
longer we have
traveled our road.
Up ahead, either
closer than ever, or
still at a distance,
The DEAD end is
reached. Yet, death
isn't the end of us,
as long as someone
remembers...
when or where
we made our
advent into
the world;
we began a
journey down,

road of life.
Along the way

Once upon a picture
from the mantlepiece
quivering questions
swirling soot soothes
chimney smoke signals
written by an old berber woman
lava levitates sanctum withered mouth
speaks storm like crawls
through a needles eye
one eyed truth
a fools journey
how wise are those
who have none
and twirling figures escaped
escalating science from silence
in a hazed compound
I saw my sister’s ballet slippers slip
she wants to be a ballerina
when she dances...

Mum Sample!
On mummy day we just jubiliate..
On mummy day we don't barricade..
On mummy day we don't infiltrate..
On mummy day we post no bille..
On mummy day we don't replay..
I stand by the north 12 o'clock..
Behind my back south
6 o'clock..
From the right east
3 o'clock..
By the left west
9 o'clock..
With this tears how we pay..
Volunteer for replay..
Inside the mind we foreplay..
Outside the mind afterplay..
It's free world...

What is life without love
What is life without love, for is it still call life when we are alone in the dead of the night skies. THAT hangs upon our very words, like the silence of our night tears that seems, to be lost in the very mixture of unforgotten time. ⌚ For sure do we really know what is life without love, but yet we still crave that real feeling of love and affection, and support and understanding. Only to be denied that what we crave due to the point, that we start shifting our own personal thoughts, 🤔 to dive deeper than deep into the process of the way that, we think and believe in our heart...

Fire!
I slept and woke to pounding!
People outside screamed, "FIRE!"
We had no smoke detectors.
There were five of us in the house!!!
The smoke was thick.
Isn't that what usually kills people?
I was only 13. Mom was drunk.
The others...my siblings.
We had just moved in here.
Our Aunt had evicted us.
Jimmy was hiding in Florida.
We were dead broke!
Now we might be dead!
I don't remember the first fire...
When I was 2 months old.
Mom had left me alone.
Neighbors saved me.

Thrive
What does hope feel like?
I say to my child self.
In her world of sweet oblivion.
It feels like the sun warming my skin,
until time melts away.
It feels like the raw joy in my heart
would always persist.
Ah youth.
Soaring summits to be climbed,
inside hope's mountain range in my mind.
Despair has peaks too, that stab the souls sky.
Inside time's great divide,
lies the present moment.
The only existing moment.
To thrive with the warm joy of life.
I say to my child self.
In her world of sweet oblivion.
It feels like the sun warming my skin,
until time melts away.
It feels like the raw joy in my heart
would always persist.
Ah youth.
