“You haven’t cast your shadow in our doorway in two years. But it is Christmas and you are my gift.”
“If I’d waited any longer it might have been too late.”
“You mean I might have moved on. Trust me, I am part of the furniture here. There is no chance of me leaving.”
“No, I meant there is a chance that I might move from this earth.”
“Don’t tell me you would off yourself. You should never have left me. I heal your mind.”
“That never crossed my mind. I have a lump on my forearm.”

Breast Cancer Awareness Month winding down
Therefore, ladies, please continue your monthly breast exams, they do help for early detection.
If you are over the age of 40, please schedule to have a mammogram
If you are in remission, please select healthy choices to consume, be liberal in your caffeine, and get your mammogram yearly, along with a physical and blood work.
I have raised $5,727.02 from coworkers, affluent friends who have given money, checks

Cancer, Radiation Treatment, Chemotherapy, and Hospice
I dedicate this medical journey for anyone to have to ponder the sole decision when faced with the diagnosis of cancer and what is the best course of treatment plan, regarding such a prolific journey and what methods to heed when subjugation the body to its path to reach remission, eradicate cancerous cells, to prolong life, to decrease the metastasis, or to assure the essence of quality acceptance when in the terminal stages.

HERE IN THE VAST DARK LOSTNESS OF ALL THAT IS (Fri., Aug. 6th, 2021, 5:00pm, Palm Springs, California)
ever growing
more consciously
more multidimensionally
awake and aware
here within
the vast dark
lostness
of all
that is
yet still somehow
feeling
somewhat
quite stuck
still just
a bit
far too tethered
too intrinsically fettered
to all
that is not
even though
ive now
presently come
to a point
in my lifes
ongoing journey here
where ive learned
to let go
completely
surrender fully
all which once
was
but is no ...

Father's Day 2021
Today is Father's Day. But because I have no father or children, I can't celebrate this day. Dad was born on October 18, 1947 and died on July 13, 2013 at the age of sixty-five. When I saw Dad in his casket, it brought tears to my eyes and made me feel sad. But it didn't make me feel any worse than I was already feeling. Mom died just four months earlier and I was already feeling terrible.
Dad was a good provider. He didn't earn a lot of money but he was a hard worker, and provided for my brother and I and Mom. Because Dad dropped out of school in the 6th or 7th grade, he could...

Norman's Demise
I had an uncle. His name was Norman Greene. He died twenty years ago today on June 12, 2001. He was fifty-six. Norman smoked three or four packs of cigarettes each day. He died of lung cancer. A doctor misdiagnosed Norman. He told Mom that Norman had TB. A few days later, we were informed about the misdiagnosis, and that Norman actually had lung cancer. Norman died about two weeks later.
Norman and I had something in common. Schizophrenia. My type of Schizophrenia is Paranoid Schizophrenia. It's possible that Norman's Schizophrenia was a different type than mine. Norman's...

I only had a week to say goodbye
Part 1 (If I don't laugh I will cry)
I saved her mind to a memory stick
so I can reboot each time she gets sick.
Her version control says don't ask me
and she's started to sing in MP3.
Each time she tries to remember a name
she asks for a password and starts again.
Old memories don't seem to play anymore
because she's lost the driver for her MP4.
Sometimes little thoughts keep coming back
but it's usually just the audio track.
I'm beginning to think her file is corrupt ...

two short extemporaneous poetry.. of these hard~ heavy 'kaliyug' times
1.
:: impervious... ::
...she’s now .
to nature. Its light & love
the benumbing cancers gang her up
to a mere skeletal eaten up caricature
& yet to a massive ticking distortional mess…
the slightest of incitement to explode...
are these stigmatic quarantining- the
obligately insane... staring forever..
their rock-hardened cold eyes-
unknown to lukewarm tears... of
an overbrimming love... & mercy..

Peach Rhymes with Reach
The majority of the year was spent in
t-shirts with my hair tossed up
I’m really behind on my laundry
I buy new clothes
and throw it away
Though we likely
felt a similar way
in 9 approaching 10
there’s still something sure
about the rounded
wholeness of 20
19 was the hardest year of my life
I probably sunk into white ceilings
and drowned in hot, fluorescent
lighting more than
I can count in 30 years
My mom would often say I...

Chemical State of Mind
I don’t work, I don’t fuck only eat and rarely shit
That’s why this year I’m on my third selfish-ass bitch,
“The life I live they truly hate it
Now grandma’s giving me an enema, because I’m constipated,
“The chemo for the cancer is eating me alive
Couldn’t make it to the bathroom now shit is running down my thighs,
“Embarrassed and words of comfort-I don’t want to hear it
Because my soul is hurt, sprinkled with a shattered spirit,
“Soiled clothes on the floor, shitty rag in the sink
Asshole naked on the toilet as I start to think, ...
