Let the fight to find a cure continue on with every fiber of my being that is my hope for this world and that is to totally eradicate any type of cancer, mainly childhood cancer.

If anyone who has had a loved one who have had cancer and watching the stages of the long suffering it is saddening, or the smiles of hopefulness when cancer has been declared to be in remission, or traumatic to family, friends when someone in their terminal stages is placed under hospice care.

When breast cancer is treated, it may result in complete or partial remission. Complete remission occurs when physical exams, blood tests, and imaging do not show any signs of cancer. Partial remission is when the tumor is still present but reduced. Those with breast cancer will be monitored by their healthcare team for years to come.

I fight for you, I run on behalf for a cure for you and as I will always do within my power to stand up for you, therefore, that is the sole purpose I encourage you women to do those breast exam, or men get your prostate checked, your colorectal screenings, and now since there is Cologuard (a little less invasive) just keep in mind.

Colonoscopy – 95% of large polyps detected
Stool DNA (Cologuard Test) – 42% of large polyps detected
Fecal Immunochemical Test (FIT) – 24% of large polyps detected

Get you Flu shot and if you have not had a Pneumonia vaccination in ten years, consider one, and RSV is up in children, make sure if they are in daycare to make sure they are watching their hands, and keep some hand sanitizer in your purse, we are in the Flu season and some of those symptoms may mimic Covid.
