Wonderful You
You lift my spirits when I’m down
Your friendship means the world to me
You’re the light in the sky
The dark fantasies I don’t hide
You know what I desire
How to tame me
How to let me roam free
Your words captivate
You know just how to get my attention
How to let my mind play
And you live a world away
Our friendship will never see the light of day
Perhaps that’s why it works so well
You did what I could never imagine
You sent poem number one thousand today
Who does that?
The man who’s heart knows mine, that’s who...

pis- ant (noun)
If you know any inconsequential, irrelevant, or worthless people in your life who are irritating and self-centered, call them a Pissant!
I know I do.
Sentence:
Bobby was always bragging and being a real pisant to Cindy. Cindy had enough and punched that pisant in the mouth.

the mirage of blackbirds
in alterations you hum,
escalating then reverberating a tone
that only I can hear in the gossamer twilight
in the quiet times before my midnight storms
and my brittle bones ache
I dare not yet I do see you burning with intensity as you toil
picking words from the universes
harvesting the souls of them
and then with quill to parchment
arrange their grace so the angels may speak again
uttering in my ears knowledge garnered from the winds
speaking the ancient language of deep, black space

My understanding
I was going to write this about the things I do not understand
Instead, I decided to write about what I do understand
I understand that:
We are all not what we seem to be
we are not a book that has not already been written
we are in an ever-moving state, even when sitting still
We are shifters in society. Moving yet not.
We are in an emotional quandary that is projected on the screen of life
We are harsh, pleasant, sweet, mean, cut throat and healers
We all had the same beginning
we will all have the same end
We are human

The Perfect Poem
Ah, the perfect poem.
Does it occur when you are sufficiently stoned?
Or when the agony begins to bloat?
Or when in cherry blood, joy floats?
Lies eloquently disguise truths.
Truth promenades as lies.
Poetic words speak to the roots that keep us alive.
Should it provoke intricate questions of the soul?
As landmines of resonance fill our holes.

He Who Has Control of Words...
He who has control of words can control the universe
Or at least have the masses do his bidding
He who has control of words can stir up emotions
Swaying their choices however he sees fitting
There have been those who understood the power of words
Throughout history many have been great orators
Some have taken to help out and change the world
While others sought more power to become dictators
Yet if those who know words but don’t know their meaning
They will raise false hopes in hollowed out souls
And the consequences of the words...
Or at least have the masses do his bidding
He who has control of words can stir up emotions
Swaying their choices however he sees fitting

Ephah
It's late
I want to write
I don't want to read
nor scry
I don't want to design
consumeristic graphics
I simply want words
to emerge as the Moon
from behind clouds
illuminating the field
while I, as Ruth, glean
what's left behind
before threshing
the miniscule amount
into an ephah of poem
to carry home
~

Outside of The Window
Here I am just looking out the window of my space, and wondering how did I get here to find this moment.. TO just analyze the deepness of the quietness of sounds, of nature through the 🪟 pane of the window. For sure as I look as far as my own eyes could see 👁️👁️. I appreciate the realness and opportunity to releaseing, that feeling of bliss and harmony. Away from the negativity and drama, and confusion and madness and chaos. 🤨 That has changed the atmosphere of life, and dreams and endless views of possibilities. For sure it's here and now, I can...

Form's turbulent public breakup with...
Content
was punctuated in caramel...like Goober doubling down into Gomer.
It was a gator rasslin good time though, when content came hard out of the closet
with their newly minted significant other to show off on the outre tennis court
of Benifer style celebrity.
Verse once more velocipedes with Whitmanesque abandon...
at the long dormant DUP, where the wet blankets of formalism
have too long stifled the sparks...

Red Peignoir/ Collab with KristinaX
A red peignoir is a summoning torch
I unweave the petals of the brightest roses
Lace from the passion of scarlet drops
A flowing heart, with it's ripe vines.
I get drunk on you watching me,
as I toast to your presence.
My lips summon the wine glass
and I stare into the weakened blood of it
swarming to my mouth.
The web pangs it's melancholy tune
Haunting desires stalking a troubled mind
Weaving strands of your essence on my lips
Consuming them, playing them...
Like a tune best forgotten, if I could.

Too much, not enough ?
When to say too much
When to say not enough
I always say too much
Except when I want to say
EVEN MORE
Like right now

EVEN MORE

The Written Words
The Written Words
with malice
destroy the spirit
destroy love, erode victory
sending some to spiral
into the deepest darkness
words can stir up
hatred and violence
resulting in genocides
with love
it strengthens a union
cheer up the depressed
save lives
bolster faith
weave beauty in tales
bear the next generation
never underestimate words
spoken or written
Words are Powerful.
