Red Peignoir/ Collab with KristinaX
A red peignoir is a summoning torch
I unweave the petals of the brightest roses
Lace from the passion of scarlet drops
A flowing heart, with it's ripe vines.
I get drunk on you watching me,
as I toast to your presence.
My lips summon the wine glass
and I stare into the weakened blood of it
swarming to my mouth.
The web pangs it's melancholy tune
Haunting desires stalking a troubled mind
Weaving strands of your essence on my lips
Consuming them, playing them...
Like a tune best forgotten, if I could.
But that song wrote itself,
as we hummed across each other's skin.
To be a hot rider above you.
To feel an open dark desire,
And the pulsation of deep celiac rivers,
To find yourself in sensual nirvana,
In the dew of bliss,
completing your run into me.
And falling like a spent arrow
that had tore into you mercilessly.
To now lay as a used weapon,
to melt back from where it came.
It took from you, your sighs.
This is my only escape, yours too
Resurrect the flight of a bird with your breath ,
Pouring passion and fury into her blood,
Stirring my cauldron of suffering.
Whispering enchantments all the while,
what can we cause to rise, once again.
Through fire and cursings,
and desperate wishes for one another.
Together, fortunately with the sweet, ascend
Under the crimson rain of the devils we know...
As the wine slips from our lips
and glistens down our bodies,
in a trade of warm liquid.
Like our own, given as sacrifice
for the luxury of drunkenness
from deep rooted intoxications.

A delicious collab. A blend of romanticism, want and subtle eroticism. The wine metaphor softly clinks as ice cubes in a glass. I wouldn't expect anything less from 2 of my fave writers on here ;) Enjoyed. Much.

It turned out pretty dang good I think. It's tougher than I thought, because each writer is worried about letting the other down. But it worked out okay!

Considering it took about a month to get it done! I've done "reply" ones, but never a collaboration before. Busy schedules, etc.

Kind of hard to comment properly being a part of it. :p
Perhaps a red peignoir is a summoning torch for your words.
Unweave them from passion and a flowing heart. Let the wine flow.
A melancholy tune that plays haunting desires can be so beautiful.
Those strands of the essence, white pearls lining the lips.
Consuming the words and playing them to create a different tune.
Sometimes the song just writes itself, humming across the mind.
To be a hot rider definitely inspires, and those dark desires.
Sensual nirvana and a dew of bliss collected as they run out.
And the spent arrow is one that definitely took a shot.
One that hit it's target but it can absolutely be used again and again.
Taking aim, such a weapon is the best way to get sighs and moans.

This is certainly a summoning torch. Beautifully, the words poured with the peignoir as the desire for one another grew. I can feel the seductiveness of the color red throughout.

I haven’t heard of peignoir sets since I worked a summer job during college in the lingerie department long long ago! They held such romance and mystery for me.
They were typically white but I can guarantee had the store sold red ones we wouldn’t have been able to keep them stocked. I really admired and enjoyed the exchange and development of this poem between you both. I can feel the beckoning and allure of the set summoning me…

Just for the record, white lingerie is the best seller because it brings out skin tones better.
Especially darker skin tones. But, the opposite is true for paler women and dark colors. The sharp contrasts.
Who am I kidding, a woman in a t-shirt is hot as hell, too.
We're gonna shred the gift wrap, regardless. Lol.
Your experience working there sounds like a good idea for you to write about!

I had to look up the word - peignoir. LOL
This has both of your unique gifted styles in this.

I've never heard of the word peignoir til this! Much less try to pronounce it.
And no, to me this wasn't easy or effortless. I worried about complimenting her portion enough. Maybe she did too? But, it turned out better than I thought it would. I over worry. Lol.

So, a '57 Chevy? A '55 Ford truck? '63 Impala! With mag wheels though. They are loaded with chrome! Lol.
