slightest hesitation �
inflicts interior acrimony �
a common side-effect �

elusive rotation �
prevents �
weight bearing foundation �
from exposure �
to anything more �
than slightest �
feet licking enflamation �

gotta keep on moving �
yet forced sometimes �
to embrace pallid �
social penetrations �
no matter how in-valid �
in hopes they grant �
a ration of stamina �
easing screaming soles �
with kool-aid shoals �
free donuts and coffee �
on the sales-room floor �

this relief �
if accepted �
must be conciously registered �
as deceptive �
bordering on devil-dealing �
wading in River Styx �
swept-awaying in under-tow �
of all it conceals �

respite must be brief �
