Empty night
Black and listless
The Stars have gone
And the moon has faded
The sun is out of sight
Nothing exists
Empty barren
Alone
Ice drips down
But you can’t hear a sound
The drums are hollowed out
No one visits
There is no one there
Tired, so tired
Of breathing
here
I wait in vain
The silence screeching by
Slow so slow
And how I long to die
To end my torment
To end my solitude
time drips red
thick drops slithering
across my skin
the only thing that touches me
life drifting away
so slow
another tear in the fabric
another prick of red
and still I breath
in the darkness
in the empty night
pain my only companion
a reminder I still exist
in a world of emptiness
and I’m so weary now
fed up of the thoughts that plague me
of the life that lingers on
unwanted
unloved
longing for the day
I can close my eyes
and become dust
carried on the wind
drifting to the light
but time drags painfully on
and my breathing doesn’t waiver
life goes on
empty
The Stars have gone
And the moon has faded
The sun is out of sight
Nothing exists
Empty barren
Alone
Ice drips down
But you can’t hear a sound
The drums are hollowed out
No one visits
There is no one there
Tired, so tired
Of breathing
here
I wait in vain
The silence screeching by
Slow so slow
And how I long to die
To end my torment
To end my solitude
time drips red
thick drops slithering
across my skin
the only thing that touches me
life drifting away
so slow
another tear in the fabric
another prick of red
and still I breath
in the darkness
in the empty night
pain my only companion
a reminder I still exist
in a world of emptiness
and I’m so weary now
fed up of the thoughts that plague me
of the life that lingers on
unwanted
unloved
longing for the day
I can close my eyes
and become dust
carried on the wind
drifting to the light
but time drags painfully on
and my breathing doesn’t waiver
life goes on
empty
