Intisar
My name is Intisar
I was the Amira of the dream forest
until a nightmare changed everything
I will spend many lifetimes trying to rectify what happened
he turned the trees against me
he turned the forest against me
I was no longer welcome
in the forest of dreams
he cast an old spell
one that is not easily broken
I ruled the forest
the trees bowed to me
the trees protected me
now they guard him against me
he was a thought, an evil thought
just a nightmare
something born in the mind
he was never to exist
yet in the forest of dreams
when the moon is fullest
whatever you dream
becomes reality
lightening hit the ground
the trees shook with a terrible force
there he stood
the nightmare which could not be contained
he was stronger than I
his magic was darker than mine
a Jinn wizard born from fire of the mind
he told me I would bow to him
I refused
I called upon the trees
they did not sway
they did not move
the Jinn wizard laughed
his laugh burned the leaves of the trees
the leaves reduced to ash
only branches on the scorched tress were left
the branches grabbed me
the Jinn wizard pointed to the west
the trees once my family
discarded me
they tossed me out of the forest of dreams
the Jinn wizard created a magnetic force field
the forest of dreams withered and died
the ash created a dark cloud the sun could not penetrate
nothing grew again
the jinn wizard brought the rain
rain combined with the ash
nothing but a muddied hell was left
I sit on the west side of the dead forest
watching everything die
I call upon the elements
they do not heed my call
no tears were ever shed in the forest of dreams
yet now I cry
its my fault
he was born of my thoughts
he danced in my mind
my brain entertained the thought of him
my heart gave him life
the full moon delivered the beast to my forest
nothing is what I'm left with
I find refuge in a cave near the west side
I gather quartz and amethyst
I wait for another full moon
The jinn wizard gathers sulfur
he too waits on the next full moon
I was the Amira of the dream forest
until a nightmare changed everything
I will spend many lifetimes trying to rectify what happened
he turned the trees against me
he turned the forest against me
