The snow was falling on my heart....
I remember the winter.
I remember that cold.
I remember the mother who said, "This is not your home."
And, sorrow came
Because I was alone.

The snow was falling on my heart....
And, that sweet little girl was drowning in the snow.
So came me.
Bitterness and anger became my way.
I was the little beast.
Until you showed me kindness.
You melted my heart.
And, saved me from drowning in snow.

And, the little beast shattered us both.
But, I kept the pieces, and need to put it together.
Now there is only these dreams I keep.
And, the constant fall of this snow....
