Maggie May

My daughter, Margaret "Maggie" May's birthday is tomorrow. She "felt" the music early on as you see. I am proud of her accomplishments in life. I am MOST proud of her compassionate giving.

The smallest moments pass on by
if we look ahead its history

Can the pot say to the potter
why did you create me this way
Can the sun say to the earth
should I shine again today

You've trekked the world to freely give
offering hands and smiles to those in need
you laugh and remind me you're older now
yes, and you're still my little girl

Dreams to dream, plans to make
love to give, love to take
barbie dolls and tonka toys
scraped up knees and pesky boys
misty eyes, silent prayers
promises made, secrets shared

All the things that matter most
are freely given
