Since I deleted 841 poems last week I'm feeling freer to write again.  There's been an absence in this craft.  

This was an older poem I reworked and added to.  It's funny how that works. A line or a word or 2 make all the difference. Fresh again...

What a lucky person, to be seen and loved so vividly. I enjoy your paintings. What are some of your influences?

She is lucky to have my love.
Not sure she appreciates it but she's short on words so keeps me guessing...

My art influences are de Kooning, Rothko, and living in a giant city.  There's art and texture everywhere.  I'm extremely visual so I beg, borrow and steal ideas and use them kindly.
