Love the write & the art. Perfect.

Wrote this a few weeks ago and didn't think I would post it.  But I changed one word and then it felt okay to release it publicly.
 That one word was strangling it but now it's free ...

As for labels: I think they are overrated & sometimes you can't put a label on a relationship.
...hope you find that spark again :-)

Oil in painting is da bomb.  I need to do it again sometime..

I haven't commented in a while because I haven't trusted myself. Your work hits home, mostly your artwork. I haven't shared this, but I used to paint, long before I wrote poetry. Maybe someday when I trust myself again I'll paint again. For some reason, it's harder for me than writing.

You inspire me more than anyone I've met here.

I love doing both.
I'm a wordy fuck so poems are easy and art j comes to me in daydreams and I attempt it.  

Painting is super satisfying.  And contemplative. I hope you find the courage to start again.  Starting is the hardest part but there are many rewards ...

Dude, mentally the pic fell onto landscape view and we mentally named it "Clash." We see a threatening sky, waters crashing a coast, waters swirling and crashing under a pier, and waters crashing from a fall. Great theme for when things eta little to normal. really tight

Extra cool art on this one. I keep seeing different things every time I look at it. I love it when art makes me do that.

Its a BIG painting with a lot of feels.
Oil is the best but I would need a separate workspace to do more.  Mostly I work in watercolor and gouache but there's nothing like oil for effect ..

Poem first...the title is perfect for the message in this. Sometimes it just needs that jolt to restart.

Art...goddamn...it's like a moody city-back alley scene. You know I love me some movement & mood. This one has it in spades! LIKE!!

To me, movement in art is the cat's meow so I appreciate that it drives you too 💜
On relationships, I believe in keeping things going with communication even when that's uncomfortable.  Some relationships flow on auto-pilot but mine need constant watering to keep them growing..
