The Song Of The Moon
The moon will sing a song for me and you.
Despite all the choices you had.
You chose me,and I shouldn't feel bad.
The moon watched us,sunshine glow.
Light breeze,moonlight flow.
When the moon sings,I sing too.
I loved you more than the sun.
More than the moon,stars.
More than anything else.
And reality won't be false.
Because you chose me before we met.
I walked down the path, rainy day,my hair wet.
The sky was dark,as we feel a spark.
I shine brightly within the moonlight.
The one that gives me will to fight.
And peaceful sleep at night.
We could have been anything else at all.
Yet you caught me as I began to fall.
The moon began to glow.
As we looked at eachother,slow.
The moon will sing a song for us.
Reminding you of peace,of thus.
And all those empty rooms we were in.
We both struggled to fit in.
The moon knows our story.
And our relationship in all its glory.
The sun will shine,I loved you like the moon.
Yet around you,I feel swoon.
The moon will sing once more.
And we'll escape Nevermore.
Let's look at the glowing moon at night.
As we all begin to shine bright, listening to her song.
And if you just gave in and listened.
You will sit on a gold throne, your eyes glistened.
The moon looks at us and gives a reassuring wink.
You sit down and begin to think.
You wonder,is this Nevermore?
Is there something more,or is it fake?
Is it an illusion, like a lying snake?
Is happiness what we create?
Or maybe it's our destiny and fate?
Let me say,I love you like the sun.
I'm sorry I tried to hide my feelings and run.
Moonlight,sunlight.
They both shine bright.
Butterfly,flower,red rose.
Like the one you gave me.
It made me smile.
Happy,filled with glee.
And the even if the future,I cannot see.
I hope we watch the stars and stay with me.
I shine only with the light you gave me,I loved you like the sun.
One day, you'll read this, and no need to run.
The moon will sing for me and you.
I may be delusional at times, that's true.
So watch the stars tonight, and be with me,too.
Despite all the choices you had.
You chose me,and I shouldn't feel bad.
The moon watched us,sunshine glow.
