Dup Mafia Romance pt 2

I looked at Samantha sitting before me, wondering what we were discussing. She will never know everything about this business, my business.

I don't trust her, and that is the problem here. Kiki came back to the table without drinks.
“Doll, can you just sit here with my friend until I return?” I ordered it in question, but she knew it was not the choice I was making for her.

“Yes, Frank.” She said, looking at me with too much emotion from my comfort. Maybe I put a little too much in that kiss. Ohh, hell, too late now.

“Frank, she doesn't have to say I can—”

What is it about these women telling me what they want tonight? I looked at her, cutting off her sentence and before she even thought of uttering another word, I leaned in and said,
“You have no choice, Sam. The agreement is solid, and if you go back on the agreement, you know I don't take that well.”

Sam took a deep breath and just nodded. I looked at Kiki, and she was watching what was going on between the both of us. Yeah, I can see the jealousy there, and I will have to set her straight. As much as I would like to say I am entirely Samantha's. Things have to be cleared to move forward.
I got up from the table with my second on my heels and walked out the back. Bethany's voice was loud enough that whatever transpired behind her, no one would pay attention, and the fact that she could sing her ass off helped.

I went to the back of the club to one of my offices, and there sat Ashton Mahoney. Ashton Mahoney is what we call a deserter. His people came over trying to join the DUP, but once I decided that there was something about him that was not trustworthy, I said no.

Ashton went to the other side, and the crew accepted his traitors. He didn't go against me because I've never accepted him into the DP, but Ashton, from what I heard, went from the crew to the Geminis.

Once inside their organization, he squealed and told everything, and now the crew is a shell of its former self. Now Ashton is sitting before me looking smug.

“Mahoney, what are you doing in my place?”

My man surrounded the man, and he felt no fear, which is the wrong feeling to have when I was 2 seconds from cutting his throat.

“I was hoping to get here before Miss Nashon arrived. My boss is not very happy with her and would like you to return her to him.”

I stood there looking at him as if he was the worst piece of shit under my shoe. Ashton was 10 years my junior and looked like he lived 1000 lifetimes. With all those cuts and scars across his face, I knew the Geminis did not play any games with their members.

“Ashton, I'm gonna let you leave because I want you to deliver a message to your boss. Samantha Nashon is mine. He dares come after her he will have the full force of the DUP.”

Ashton just smiled as if he knew something I did not, and I know everything that goes down in my city.

I turned to me and gave him the signal to rough him up a bit before letting him go and deliver the message.

I walked out of the room, and no more than three steps, I heard fist beating one flesh. You can never get that sound out of your head. It doesn't disgust me because that's the name of the game, but when fist meets flesh, it's ohh as if I was starting to salivate.

Entering back into the club, I could hear myself on my heels. I stopped short, waiting for them to tell me their concerns.

“Frank, we need to get her out of here. This is not good the moment she comes in now we have the Geminis on our backs. Do you want this war?”

Does anyone want a war? I looked across this room seeing Samantha Kiki and that man sitting at the table I was just at. I was right; I needed to get out of the club. I know exactly where she should be.

“Take her to Soledad.”

I started shifting a bit, and I knew why. Normally, it would make me crack a smile, but this was not the time or the situation for those kinds of emotional dalliances.

“All right, Frank. I'm bringing the car around. What are we gonna do with that man?”

Who is that man that won't be no more than 5 feet away from Samantha? I thought.
“Get one of your men to find out who he is and if he's a threat, remove the threat.”

I immediately went into action. I walked to the table, leaned over into Samantha's face, and said in ta tone that sends grown men in a panic, " You are leaving here with my second. If I find out you're being a brat, you know what is in store for you.”

I heard a little squeak coming from Kiki, but I did not turn my head. You see, Kiki wanted this dominant side of me; I just couldn't bring it out for her.

I've done things, of course, with her, but I just couldn't bring the extent of who I am out. I knew it was because it wasn't for her. It was for Sam.

Me

I do whatever Frank tells me to do. I have been his second for years. But sending me to Soledad while we're starting to have a situation because of this Nashon woman is pushing it.

The drive over there was silent, and Frank decided to send Kiki with us. He figured she might be the thing to distract the man that's hovering over Samantha

We made it to the hotel that Frank owns. We got off on the 12th floor and went to Rome 535 to hear music blaring.

I had to close my eyes before I knocked on this door because I did not know what I would see the minute it opened.

I gave it a knock, and on the third, Soledad opened the door wearing a 1950s waitress outfit in pink and white. The skirt was so short that you might as well just say it's non-existent. She even had the little hat that they used to wear.

The music… ohh, God, is that Faith Hill, the way you love me?

“Me, it's been a while,”  Soledad said, looking at me with a combination of hunger and indigence.
Please be professional, Soledad. I looked at her, pleading with her with my eyes to be professional.
“Well, are you gonna just stand there, or you're gonna bring whoever these females is into my home?”

OK, she's not going to be professional. I walked into her place, went straight to the radio, and turned it off.

“Me unless you pay my bills don't touch my things. Now who are they? Ohh and you brought a man too.”

I turned around and glared at the silent man next to Samantha, and all I could think of was how I could cut his balls off faster than he could say ow.  By the way he is looking at Soledad.

“Soledad, they're just going to stay the night, they'll tell you their names. You know what the protocol is. Do not and I mean do not open this door unless you know it's me.”

Soledad just gave me a smile and I knew she wanted to say something really bad but then thought against it.

“Me I am not new to this. You can leave now.”

Did she just dismiss me?

 Me?

I've looked at her and before I said anything that would make these ladies think more than what is going on I stormed out of the room and close the door.

I stood there listening because women can't help themselves but to talk.

“What was that? Are you and me aaaaa?”  Kiki asked Soledad.

I waited for that answer. What was Soledad going to say? But nothing came, and I don't know if the silence was more irritating or if the answer would have gotten me.
