The power contained within
To inflict a great wound
Said in anger
Or said with malice
Said without regard for ones feelings
Sharper than any two edged sword
More powerful than any gun
Causing a hurt so deep
Ones very core of being aches
Leaving a marred soul that never heals
Causing bitterness and inflicting that pain on others
The power to take life without touch

I like what you're trying to say here. It's a great concept. I feel (IMO) that it could be a lot sharper and harder. This feels more like the bones of something that could be awesome.

Indie, thank you so much for taking the time to both read and comment on this. On reflection, I totally agree that it could do with some work, I take on bourd the concept that it could be a launch pad for a potentially much harder, more indepth write. I will consider it to be a work in progress.

sticks & stones the say
but words leave the mind in disarray

peace becomes too hard to find
all because of words that hit so hard
