Collage 140 - Sorry, Not a Sex Poem

Been doing collage for about 2 months.
Did a whole bunch of them.
This one is a bit different in scope so I’m glad it resonated with you Tim

At one time we was thinking books on a shelf, then we was thinking inside of a tv that's signing off. We can and do think on somethings to freaking hard, which really says something for your talent dude  We have a painfully short attention span so your pieces are perfect for us, Again totally tight

It's ironic ME because my attention span is minimal too.  But for some reason I find collage making to hold my attention.  Odd how that works.  It's a real challenge and I love doing it.  Glad it rings your bell 🔔

But this was really a new direction for you. The intentions in this feel, I don’t know, meatier? Like there is a more solid base to stand on, as if the chaos makes sense on the outside.

I was really happy with the way this collage turned out.  I love working around numbers on cardboard.  I'm really into using recycled materials as backers and creating poems around them.

Your collage has Amazing depth. I feel like I could walk 30 feet into it. Really unique in that it has a frenzied surface but somehow feels safe and sheltering. Beautiful piece.

The best poem I've read in a while. We all try so hard to appear like we're not trying, yet you achieve this affect as if you don't give a f*ck. Oh, how we agonize what words to use, slamming our hands in car doors just to convey the pain and lo! on the seventh day we rest with bandaged hands.  

Now that's a comment I can believe in.
These collages tell stories. Bits and pieces of our fractured lives.  Its my job to lay the groundwork and color ...
