things aren't always what they seem
that building on the
corner there...
...yes. that building
it uses to be a coffee
shop
a gym
a used book store
but despite intentions
each failed
failed
failed
and
failed
now it sits there:
empty
alone
abandoned
it is much like
love and the
human
heart

Well said and I see your point. We become a part of something, only to move on, to meet other people. But in the end, are we happy, or empty inside. I guess it's up to us to fill it up, to keep on trying.

The repetition of “failed” really drives the point in. But from failure a heart learns and grows.

Great observation, thinking back about how busy that structure may have been at one point buzzing with life, now sitting there, dark and alone.
