It was a long,tiring day.

It gently covered the ground and your face.
As it performed in the skies.

And shines upon the pathways.

You used to lay here and watch it play.

It gave you comfort,negativity astray.
It would take your frown away.
As you walked past the pathway.

It calmed you down when you were a child.
Or when your days were stressful and mild.
When your thoughts were going wild.

It wiped your tears away.
And gave a comforting smile.
It drived the worry astray.

And you hoped to meet again one day.
No matter is it in her light form.
Or wearing her dress,white and torn.

With her long,golden hair.
She smiles at you and took you anywhere.
Up in the skies,cloudy skies.

Cold weather and warm nights.
When you didn't feel okay.
As a child,she took care of you all the way.

And you hoped,that just one day.
She will erase your worries and take you away.
At the land of the magical stars.

Where fairytales lived,night and day.
Or hope and moonlight bay.
And ,no matter what they say.

She will always be there at night.
Cheer you up and take you away.
As you grew up,you felt.

That she made you smile and melt.
In her warm embrace.
She will be there,help you.

And help in so many ways.
The moonlight sways.
And brings new getaways.
