The piper

I open my eyes
To the morning suns glow
And chase my dreams
Across the raging sea

I follow my muse
Along the whispered winds
I stumble through fields
Glazed with the studded stars

The maddened king knows
And I bet his harem girls do
Frightened mystic cries my name
Cause I've seen his truth

When the beast has been awakened
The ground will rumble
Armies shriek in terror at his roar
Ancient city walls will tumble

Knowing the piper is here
To collect his debt
Playing his hypnotic tune
Soaking into their heads

Where will you be
After being lulled into trance
And the piper
Summons you to dance
