Morning Light
Morning light pours into the room
Where once the shadows dwelled
The deepest pits inside my head
Drown in light once again
The darkest thoughts vanish
Tainted memories shatter away
The sun a beacon I long for
To guide me on to another day
A familiar feeling upon my skin
The nostalgic feeling I can’t explain
A happiness warm and overwhelming
I can feel a smile on my face again
I wish that this feeling never ends
