I’m a person who writes poems about my emotions, or poems centered around the emotion I feel at the time. Mostly somewhat deep depressing with the occasional in between and the rare uplifting. Also sorry if I don’t reply I’m kind of shy.

Shine Through
See that light?
there through the cracks
the sun may be setting
but in the darkness here
that bit of light is blinding
you can close your eyes
and yet the light seeps through
you speak of despair
but deep down it shines through
I can see the light in your flaws
the smile you try so hard to hide
the moments of joy when you forget to lie
at some point you really fooled yourself
when was it ever cool to be depressed?
put your façade at rest we want the real you
care to allow that light to shine on through?

The Tragedy of Apathy
Everyday feels the same
Every right leaves with nothing left
The hues these days are a distant gray
It’s as if the colors in my life walked away
A lukewarm feeling but It’s something
I’ll grasp at it until as if like a dream
I forget the need to remember
It all ends up room temperature
I can’t take it anymore
Life has its ups and downs for a reason
Even the weather has its many seasons
So why is it that I cannot feel it anymore
The it of life the it of living
This sensory deprivation pool of an existence
I long for...

Stolen Heart
The words you say are mumbled
a heavy distortion with every notion
an afterimage with every motion
beautiful and mysteriously moving
a figure blending in with the background
your moves are loud without making a sound
a smile so innocent with a hint of twisted
my heart asked no permission; I'm invested
a high so vivid I can't calm down
Perfume so fragrant, and lush
a simple glance makes my soul blush
you've got me in the palm of your hand
another person under you irresistible spell
just another grain in the sand
breaking...

UPBEAT INSPIRATIONAL POEM

Enter Nirvana
Breathe in the moment
exhale exhaustion
follow the movement
and grasp ascension
One step at a time
there's no rush no worry
higher and higher we climb
no deadline no need to scurry
all is well you are doing just fine
at the top you'll find a breath taking view
release your 'self' to tranquil nirvana
abandon all worries be born anew
be cleansed of any and all stigmata
transcend all that's unbecoming of you
now it's time we began to descend
retreat back to our existence
allow the soul time to mend ...
exhale exhaustion

I Still Care
Know that in my isolation
I think of you all quite often
hoping you all feel the same
with every single missed call
the guilt of seeing your name
this depression will not subside
Its eating me from the inside
the words may be absent
but the thought was there
when it seems I don't care
please know it's not true
when you turn to go somewhere
I just hope you knew
that I wished the best for you
almost impossible to get past
this feeling I didn't want to last
and I'm not sure when this all began ...

Distraction
I'll play some game
just to get lost in
doesn't matter if I lose or win
grab a book to grab my attention
to ease my subconsciousness into suspension
all this stress all this tension
all these underlying lessons
I never even enrolled in
information known to soon be lost
I wouldn't have come had I known the cost
shoulders rounded to pass the responsibility
all these things I never wanted
it all feels shoved onto me
every road given I make a wrong turn
another thing thrown onto the pile of concerns
just another unwanted...
just to get lost in

Feathers
Falling feathers
Lightly grasp the breeze
Thrown around mesmerizing
Falling lullaby gentle gone
From afar I feel
A ravenous rise in pressure
A tornado of emotions
Turning feathers to razors
Tearing and slicing
Cutting me to pieces
My everything inside out
Nothing hidden all to view
I’m the me you never knew
The one I wouldn’t show
And as I look at you
I open my eyes
Awoken from slumber
In a room void of you
A fan for white noise
Feathered pillows for comfort
A dream again
What could have...
