Electromagnetic
space is not empty the ether is full
of electromagnetic powers that pull
twisting and pinching, pushing away
dust which is everywhere in the way
nothing is solid, atoms are space
with electromagnetic forces that trace
molecular patterns for light to reflect
everything 's more than what we suspect
electric currents are flowing through space
powering stars as they each race
in spiraling motions with planets in tow
like Sun and the Earth off they all go
Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus and Mars
Mercury, Venus wrapped in...

reocurring
that whisper
of a new
summer,
a teasing
rose morning,
that silent
freshly minted`
burning sun
invading,
letting go
and dressing
over
the edge,
playing games,
aware
of what
is expected,
like reoccurring
garden blooms.

The Sun
I am the sun, I energize your day.
I speak expressly to the humid air;
'dry up for a day that is bright and fair.'
I command moisture to dry the lush hay
for non-ruminants to be well nourished.
I am ageless, and I am distinguished.
My golden rays have living things enriched,
my yellow rays induce the labourer's sleep,
having toiled so hard for his family's upkeep.
The flower smiles at my usual advances,
and with her fixed gaze, she makes no glances.
My loving rays speak with no utterances.
The day flourishes with my assistance,...

Imprint
scribbles in an open notebook
cryptic silken inked observations
warmth of the words are a pillow
quicksilver flashes on the pages
in the soft play of the lamplight
I dine on dreams and whispers
fingertips graze my senses
and I am drawn near to you
drift against the ebb of the sun
as the moon embraces the dark
chains you now release me from
these thoughts remain unbroken
magnificent starlight echoes
etched in murmurs of sleep
my eyes blink in the remnants
of a midnight which fades to light

Yearning
Sunshine on my face,
Dying coals in my heart.
I have found myself longing
In a way I have never felt.
Dying coals in my heart.
I have found myself longing
In a way I have never felt.

Jason Looked Out The Window
Jason
looked out the
window.
He saw Heather lay
naked on the deck
this summer season.
That made
Jason turn
and smile.

Betray
The pondering patter of the rain has silenced itself.
The cars whoosh through the puddles of Earth's tears in defiance, that the sun veils her shining face behind the dull pewter clouds.
Will her rays betray her and beam right through this atmosphere of gloom.
And halt my minds dark dance with doom.

The solace of adversity
It has been a cold winter
I sit huddled in my blankets
Balancing whether I should use my batteries to power the radiator or save them in case the day is grey
I love the sun
I love directly relying on it
Being so directly aware of relying on it
I missed it badly while it was gone
Sunk behind the buildings on the ridge
Showing itself to me only by lighting the bare branches of the winter trees above the garden
I had to carry my batteries to the mains and beg a bucketful of...

Joy of Spring
I heard a crocus at her altar
opening before the sky,
watched an unfolding of petals
hush into being,
and bright yellow stamens,
and bright yellow corella
daydreaming faces
sing to our sun,
they are
softly
the luring between trees.
A butterfly rests,
the finger of a child holds steady,
that memory of Spring
flutters upon her face.

Astral Shores beyond the second Sun
Moon and sun merge
To relieve the sleeping night
lean Nomads wander astral shores
Where black diamond tides
Mirror the stars lost under the second sun
Time slows the dawn
Time slows the dusk
Long enough to feel
The movement of the earth
To relieve the sleeping night
lean Nomads wander astral shores
Where black diamond tides
Mirror the stars lost under the second sun
Time slows the dawn
Time slows the dusk
Long enough to feel
The movement of the earth

When I Woke Up And Saw The Sun
When I
woke up and saw
the sun rising between
two of the tall buildings in this
city, I felt like saying "Good Morning".
