Sun Poems
#sun
Poems about the sun, that giant star round which the earth orbits! Sun poems include poetry about the light and warmth received from the earth's sun. You'll also find poems about the beauty of sunrise and sunset.
Embracing the duality of my inner wonders, wading within the current of its soothing depth
Unto the Sun, my Moon upon the bosom of universal’s chest
Closed eyes, the basilica of souls, tarry in the Grand Rising of its promising of day
The quiet soothing of Luna, upon the earth may the funneling waters hear as I pray
I bow to the wonderous creation as I venture my presence upon the green earth
Walking in the Garden of Eden, in reminisce, a thought of lover’s rebirth
Meet me my love, as I call upon thee in another beautiful...

LUNA to SOL
The bright sphere in the sky
resting gallantly and luminously nearby
shoots the arrow of imperceptible ultraviolet
into the adjacent sphere of the mind's eye
as it sit's humbly upon its larger
mother and life giver of water,
which is known as the blue jewel;
a queen of vibrant yet modest rule
and hence when Sol blinks but
for a moment as the opalescent
globular ocean puller briefly obscures
it with ivory becoming ebony, muse,
so does the eye of the intellect,
grabbing only a moment's rest- ...

Easterlies
A lone crow perched on a breeze bobbing bough
clutching it like a floatation device
with every bit of its feathered know-how
foundering on high like a sacrifice,
to Eurus, and full afternoon sun,
blasting glory to every dancing tree
in sky blue by the cerulean ton,
and freshest barometric liberty!
Soon enough, the crow abandoned its post
to flotsam away on knackered wings
perhaps seeking a branch, not so utmost,
or to scratch the grass for edible things.
Fare thee well, oh breeze...

Freedom In My Movement (Love Found In My Stillness)
Blinders on while wallowing in sullen garments passed down by whores
Pretty words, fletched from the wishing wells, dipped in the forefathers’ tongues feeling the karma of its fourscore
Bathing in the spillage of blood, bitter fruit echoes from the tress, yet, to the mirror’s reflection promoting self-love, not found in the depth of my purifying seas
Whips and shame lament captivity housed in chains, tattered of flesh tarred and feathered, cries of freedom no more
I have seen, heard the intellect crying during systematic pain
Color blinded by whitewashed...

Forty Days Of Nineveh (COTS)
Unto the doors to walk through, to give your mind its inner peace
Repentance bestowed only from the Creator, within the hieroglyphics, the matrix of a woman’s womb never sleeps
Life and the agony of pain it seeps
Yet, you must discern if you are ready to separate those symbolism of false idols you worship that bring no comfort when it reaps
Mystique of the past, present, yet eyes have not seen
We are the subconscious where your mind roams when you dream
Consecrated scrolls is anointed as it has been blessed by...

touch me
all
that you
feel
to be
justified,
to be
fair,
tickle
my exposed
skin,
still knowing
i will not
be able
to return
or give
what
your favor
i received.

Moon's Day Out
Yesterday was,
I freely admit,
one of the most
fulfilling days
of my existence.
I had tons of fun
in front of the Sun
For four blessed minutes
I took center stage
blocking that gas balls
braggadocious rays.
Granted, without his
warmth and light
would no living
organism survive.
But, hey, I'm important too
Am I not the prince tides?
Could you see
the birds go crazy
and the humans shout
when I blocked the big guy out?
Man I felt such happiness
blanketing the
world in darkness. ...

East of The Sun
Sailing through the bluest skies
were the towering clouds of spring,
as if they were a ketch that flies
or kites upon a lengthy string!
And sure the breeze was fresh and true
at play through every leafing tree
offset against that sunset blue,
and birds in busybody glee!
That sundown was approaching fast
and the clouds were scattering fleet,
just like a squadron at full mast
rigged as white as a ghosting sheet
making way for the newest moon...
now creeping...

Rouge crossings\ AriesMoon versus solar eclipse
In tethered tremble
words from tipped tongue
fleeting fetus
we who have comets as eyes
pierced in vacant alphabet
do not mourn dawn
Denied once
existence
dissolving into
black madonna
rite
I am the embryo
eclipsed
unborn
umbra
child
unfathomed
oystered pearl
has bled
her dark red spiral flows
I found a piece called peace
looking...

I cried
( my picture of the eclipse )
I broke down and I
Cried.
The Sun
Had died
In the sky.
I could not
breath.
As much
As I wanted
To try.
I thought
Death
Had come.
I wanted with him
To fly.
Will the
Moon
Release her grip
Soon
Before she finally dies?
Will the
Light
Return again
Bright
On my tired Eyes?
Will the
World
Ponder this
Wonder or
As...

Still-born Tomorrow
Mysterious moon.
Lay up on the sun's hot fire
Still-born tomorrow.
Lay up on the sun's hot fire
Still-born tomorrow.

beautiful early morning
i wanted
to fly,
climb, an
afterthought
of pleasure,
stages of
my life,
sort these
light
and dark
moments,
let me
hang
headfirst out
every window,
let me
sing enough
beside you
just before
i fell
to sleep
again.
