Wedding in Vegas

He was a terrible gambler. Any chance he had he spent his money on some sort of game, machine or table. One summer the family all went to Vegas for a wedding. His nephew was getting married. He wanted to gamble. He can taste it. His wife knew that she had to put her foot down. She was stern and very emotionless when she told him, "NO GAMBLING!" She once mentioned to him during the flight to Vegas, If you gamble just once I'm going to kill you! Don't come back to the room if you do." He promised that he won't. She held everything of his, cards, money etc..One night while they were all sleeping, he grabbed all of the money & cards out of her purse. He didn't think twice and headed downstairs to the casino. Lady luck was on his side. He could do no wrong. He had won triple the amount he came with. Through it all he was making a spectacle of himself. Having alcohol running through his veins didn't help. He was happy. He was showboating a little to much of his winnings. Some of the eyes that glanced over to him looked embittered. When he looked down at his watch and realized it was 4:30am, he knew he needed to get back upstairs before his wife awoke. He went to cash in his winnings. As he entered the elevator two men came up besides him and whispered, don't make a scene or we will kill you". The elevator doors shut and the two men demanded all of his winnings. He refused. One of the men shot out the camera in the top corner of the elevator. The other man placed the gun towards his chest and shot him three times. They took everything of his, including his watch. They rode the elevator to the top floor, where there was access to the roof and disappeared. When his wife woke up and realized her husband was gone. She was enraged. She called the front desk asking if anyone has seen or heard from her husband. The representative said, "No ma'am, I'm sorry." She then realized all of her credentials and money were gone. She was distraught. She couldn't believe he did this to her. She got dressed and was going to go downstairs to see if she could find him. When she got to the elevators one of them was taped off. She didn't think anything of it until she overheard a couple describing a deceased man they saw being rolled out of the lobby. She stopped them and asked them what this was about. They said they didn't know much except that he was shot several times and the police don't know his identity. When she arrived downstairs she saw a bunch of police officers talking. She went up to one and explained that her husband was missing and she wanted to see the man that was killed. The cop went over to the detective who was in charge. He asked her if she could describe her husband or if she had a picture of him on her i-phone. She pulled out her i-phone. She showed the detective a picture of the two of them just taken a few nights before. The detective looked at her with grief and said, "Come this way." She knew what she was in for. When they arrived to the undisclosed area, the detective unzipped the body bag. He said,  Are you ready ma'am?" She said, "Yes." She looked down and verified to the detective that it was her husband. She wasn't crying or emotional. She then turned around and headed back to her room. She told the rest of the family. They were all in disbelief. They tried to comfort her but she didn't want any part of it. She murmured to one of her family members saying, "I told him a few days ago that if he gambled I was going to kill him and not to come back to the room. I was wrong, someone else killed him and he didn't come back to the room."
