All it takes is looking in the mirror every morning, and deciding which side of you do you want to highlight towards the world's eyes.  We make and remake ourselves whenever we feel a change is due.
Your write is so positive.  Down to earth humanity looks good on you Gary.

Had a little incident this past week that caused some distress.  Was teetering on the edge for awhile and then I lost my balance.  Fortunately it worked itself out but I decided to look under my hood.  Good thing too, was running on empty all over that engine.

You often tell me I've changed since we met, because I use more dirty words now. 😆 Well, you have too. I won't embarrass you by going into details, except to say I always suspected you were a good guy under the city grime. Otherwise I would have told you to fuck off pretty early on. 😉

There may be so many factors to consider...

The question arises: Where does the onus lie.?.

Tis perhaps complicated, but...

Each individual quest is beautiful...

I suppose, in my own quest for redemption,
I became...

Angry with the commonly accepted
administrative structure of: This so called redemption.

But this line of thinking leads to anarchy...

I just know I have seen you apologize to others,
which is difficult to do...

And you have tried to stop drinking...

I admire those things about you...

After consideration I found words of apology and then more words of contemplation and I'm trying to change a few things hence the redemption.
The thing about redemption is it can't be one email, it has to be a movement within yourself.  Thats where the hard part lies ...

As far as drinking goes, I'm on and off the sauce.  I know where I went wrong there too.  I can drink a beer with dinner and I can drink one whiskey over ice.  But the moment I top off that one drink, my evil begins.  Then I want more.  We know how that ends.  So I'm redeeming there too, most people are happy about it.

I'm glad you and I are on good terms again.
I'm a sales guy, I depend on my customers to eat and they depend on me to get there with their order on time.  A lot of stuff can be worked our with good relationships. Often the truth works, sometimes though the truth is too ugly so you have to lie to protect as I call it.  Reminds me of cop cars that have a saying printed on them "To serve and  protect" ....

It's pretty wild ME
Wrote something to hold myself accountable because I know I'll be tempted to stray.
So far so good.  I keep reminding myself that I wrote it and I mean it even though I'm pretty fragile in that regard ...
