Is the feeling of
A silent night without you
Hearing ocean spray but not your breath
Wondering how & where you are
The pulsing aftershock of your memory
This hollow in my heart where you belong
Your faded voice echoing
Loss
If you desired
I would expunge the absence…
I’d be present for you
