Good Company

I once had a vision; a surreal dream
I dreamt I was in good company with no hidden scheme
It felt like an illusion; yet it’s what I yearn for
To be pleasantly surprised when I open that front door.
-
Oh, what I’d do to be in good company
Have my worries and doubts burn out with the sun’s gleam
To be held and cherished unconditionally
I’d give up all earthly wealth to bask in good company.
-
How can I make my dream a reality?
Where’s all the good company?
I’d cherish our bonds wholeheartedly
If only I knew where to find some good company.
-
You and me and all of us; we’re all children of the sun
We’re all individuals, but we’re also connected as one
Our souls have sought each other; it was destiny
We’re destined to be held in good company.
-
Oh, what I’d do to be in good company
Have my worries and doubts burn out with the sun’s gleam
To be held and cherished unconditionally
I’d give up all earthly wealth to bask in good company.
