Full Moon Calling
https://tinyurl.com/3d97pwtm
Blinded by love
in the eye of our storm
we drowned in our poems
by the midnight bell
until the full moon came calling
trading heaven for hell
She knew all my desires
every dream I could dream
but too good to be true
love was not what it seemed
I left her out on the badlands
with the wolves closing in
more questions than answers
crawling under her skin
She spoke of the madness
but before she could tell
the full moon came calling
trading heaven for hell
She knew all my desires
every dream I could dream
but too good to be true
love was not what it seemed
Now the years have rolled by
and the memories dim
while I stare at the fire
and drink to the wind
still blind to the reasons
for my craziest sin--
why I never went back
to find her again
She knew all my desires
every dream I could dream
but too good to be true
love was not what it seemed
Blinded by love
in the eye of our storm
we drowned in our poems
by the midnight bell
until the full moon came calling
trading heaven for hell
