Observations Come Easy with Dogs
I woke up thinking about love
Affection too
Onyx came over and licked my face
Then we went out to walk
Everyone is polite at that hour
I see Stella and her owner daily
The dogs wag their tails frantically
Jump all over each other
They became fast friends
It's been 4 months now
Observations come easy with dogs
The morning is not complicated
We go out at dawn
People nod and say good morning
Even if we don't know each other
In time we will
That's the morning report
Grateful for each day

Most days are the same. The walk takes exactly 30 minutes. Then my dog eats fast and goes back to sleep. I read and write poems ...

Wow nice routine. not hectic. Quiet life nd yes, going out for a walk with the dog in the morning, and the actions of the dogs make us befriends with many people. Your dog is in silent mode or sad mood now I think 😅. Well nice reading!

This was not a ‘the fuck’ moment my dear. You showed your soft and introspective side, and it’s so much more richer than your ‘in yer face’ side.
I like both sides of you, but the quiet way you analyzed the day and dropped some deep-thought bombs was appreciated.
