Essences of colliding thoughts
ruminate
revelations of volcanic spots
illuminate
the soul speaks
beyond its worldly wisdom drawn from kings and slaves
above the chronicle of vessels departed in their graves
the soul speaks
to the terminally distracted
to the cosmically attracted
drowning sorrows at bars
weaving and cursing in cars
gazing at planets and stars
the soul speaks

Thorns mourn the rose
clipped and displayed
to wilt and dispose
in a life and death trade
lost love gone
memories fade
thorns carry on
not lonely but neglected
not bitter but betrayed
not discouraged but rejected
forever unafraid

miss the scene
shrouded in souls

Working in Faith
It seems morally or logically wrong
to love and have faith in God,
but not always feel I belong,
and wonder how it is odd
with a master so powerful and able
vicious evil causes great pain
and the world is so unstable,
the master plan seems insane.
Free will?
Evil by choice?
Allowed to fulfill
or give cause to rejoice?
Or beyond God’s power?
Or even intended?
Until the final hour
ever extended.
Faith - easier spoken than carried out!
Working through, not by mere command
Battling good reasons to...
