Idle hands

Wielding
Turning
Flesh is burning
Ablaze and thankless
Of your rival
Calm survival
Intervention
Blatant infringing on your convention
Empty armour
Steal the charmer
Break the ties
So you can harm her
Feel the blame as it’s churning
Open fire; the wheels are turning

There’s grievance in lying
As truth is dying
Await to engender
A lesser crime
A bout of time
portends the reliance
Of those subjected
To those defiant
Bruised, then untied
Sealed the wounds
Spread the light
From the finesse of deflection
To the hollows of rejection
Of the pain endured
To reform the insured
From the mastery of silence
To the bitterness of violence
When torturous commands
Ignite the idleness of hands
