This one aches... painfully. I know I sound like a broken record sometimes but just another gentle reminder that we are our own worst critics. What we see can oftentimes be completely antithetical to what the reality actually is.

I hear you. I agree with Susan. To me, the most important quality of writing is honesty and vulnerability and those are both present in your writing here, we connect on our deepest human level in this way.
For effective writing, I like to paint a scene with words and let the feelings emanate from the way I describe it. We all have our ways of relating through the medium.

Great first write for NaPo! I'm going to assume you don't really believe all these things about yourself and your writing, because it's so clearly not true. But you've taken the idea of feeling like a fraud (we all feel that way sometimes, I think) and stretched it out into a beautiful mudbath of metaphors for us poetry piggies to roll around in. Bravo!

You do a pretty good job at capturing what you feel and putting it in direction. It's obvious, evident, and tangible, as you move through the sequence of your body of work. You have the basic skillset to really hold your own. One great trait, characteristic, and attribute of the creative mind is the ability to list examples and give detailed descriptions within that, thus building upon further concepts and principles. You do that here, as you elongate and elaborate your body of work. Anyway, thanks for sharing. Hope this helps!
