The Sin I'm In

 
The words I’m about to spill on this page
Should shine and show some sure sage
Shortly there after you shall be amazed
At the time wasted, hasted and razed

But it’s pointless, worthless, and absurd
To read the feed hanging on to every word
It’s preposterous if you want my two cents
Yet here I am lacking the common sense

Sure it’s cheesy and maybe a little sleazy
But I’m certainly trying and it’s not easy
The lexicon is just a boring phenomenon
As the vernacular goes on and on and on

Hey I like to dabble in this psychobabble
And yet I’m really bad at playing scrabble
I just put together some random phrases
Trying to sound articulate to get praises

I mean if really you have gotten this far
Aren’t you finding this a little too bizarre
You’ve squandered a minute of your day
Thrown away just to watch me word play

But when I saw this thread I felt the call
I decided to say a lot and nothing at all
The sin I’m in is a synonym for a dull chorus
I’m too dumb so I thumb through my thesaurus
