Gaia
little faith in hopefulness
bright is the day that beheld me
I bask in her loveliness
soaking in the beauty of the day
the flowers sway in the sun
sentient trees hum their vibrations
while I quietly sing a song
it is an invitation into nature
to be one with the earth
she reaches out to touch me
with a bramble, a root
the dirt beneath me vibrates
she is alive our Gaia
I touch the sky with my soul
flying on the winds
feeling the breeze on my brow
I sigh with relief
I am comforted, I am a part of the earth
