Nothing grows (Collaboration with Ryzard)
Nothing grows
in this garden of bones
shadowed tombstones moan
darkness whispers of beauty found
transgressions and sin no longer bound
the sky turns black with burning lust
the gates to hell await the dusk
a warning to all, beware!
abandon hope and so despair
as fear and morality strive
pray that sanity survives
too late, the gates slam shut
trapped forever in deliriums flood
madness tasting like dripping blood
eyes dilate and hunger consumes you
you feast upon your dark desires
gorge yourself on mortal sins
gnawing fingers to the bone
the devils' garden to be sown
one last thought screams in the night
"this isn't real, this isn't real, this isn't real"
a mantra recited endlessly
in the rotting decay of reality
"this isn't real, this isn't ........ real"

Every now and again the stars align and you get to work with someone that is truly spectacular. Of course, that someone is you but beyond your amazing skills and vision you understood the nuances of my writing and showed me depths of my work that I only dreamed about. You took a simple poem and added drama, suspense, and subtilty far beyond what was written. Just wow, I am forever in your debt.

the metaphor of tombstones is superb because the reader can take the word in many ways that fit with the rest of the write!

So much has been said already but this is absolutely awesome. The video is amazing, it follows the words perfectly and is so incredibly immersive. And the reading, okay I know it's not necessarily meant to be sexy but it's so sexy to me. ;) You are a true artist and really made the incredible writing come to life. And Rhyszard, you know how to write the darkness so beautifully. Although I see the emptiness, depression despair, sadness, and insanity in it; I can also see the peacefulness, passion, and how it can maintain some semblance of sanity as well. Absolutely phenomenal collaboration. Love it!

The video audio really helps add depth to what you’re feeling while reading this poem. Bravo to the writer and videographer for allowing the reader to feel the emotion in this piece.

Where did it all go. I came out to see new work BUT NONE. and the hope of being inspired crashed on the rocks. Leaving me to find only this work on the site. I hope your are still writing. If you are not there will be a void. I frequent many literary sites and have always enjoyed your perspective on the world.
