Image for the poem Cosmos

Cosmos

Stars breathtakingly began melting; I witnessed them showering the dark sky

The crescent moon diverting, caught every luminous drop

Keeping your promise; you gave me the universe

My firm grip on the sheets graciously betrayed me as you immersed yourself into me

Possessing the thunderous heavens, contractions tightened my grip imprisoning you

Intimately granting and exhaustively consuming, with each breath, we became absently lost in our own cosmos
