Aging doesn't have to be terrible.  It's important to ,especially existing relationships but also partner with new people and ideas and concepts.  I'm lucky that way and I seek those philosophies out even if unequal to my experiences so far in life.

Rejoice on the birthdays!  Each year is a trophy of life.   Whenever you reach a birthday,  just say "thank ya Lord!" and be so grateful for the days.  
The alternative sucks!  
Being alive is so incredible!  Everything else with that is all bonus amigo!  

One of the easiest, and best things to do is make someone smile, pick someone every day.   If you do nothing else with your days, you at least did a lot for someone else.  
Be the light my man.  The more birthday candles, the brighter your light.

Know a few people struggling with cancer  
Blows my mind my cousin's days are numbered
She's smoked since 15 and is going to die at 68 or 69.
She loved smoking more than her family,   The story too gruesome for words.  I know you're a smoker.  I quit years ago,  
Took a year and 3 times.  Try to quit Styx.  As a friend here I can tell you cancer has no friends.  It's a really tough addiction to kick but the most worthy,  sorry for the preach but its avoidable.

A cigarette urge lasts about 10 minutes.
The only way to quit is if you really want to quit. I wanted to.
I used a buzz word I made up.  Every time I wanted to smoke i said the word to myself when the urge to smoke occurred. I just kept repeating it silently,  Each time the craving stopped.  No drugs needed, no gum.  Just a word and a desire.

My word was CHALLENGE

GOOD LUCK IF YOU WANT TO GET THAT MONKEY OFF YOUR BACK

Yes, can’t avoid wreckage and mistakes.
If we never made errors and mistakes with people, how would we learn anything. ??
