Would the meeting of one be any worse than the meeting of the other. Maybe the grim reaper's scythe makes a banshee's wail as it cuts through the air. Maybe as the scythe cuts into your life line you release a banshee's wail. Just guessing in a tight piece of darkness

Was trying to incorporate both into one. A Banshee call usually warns the living. The grim reaper arrives when you are already dying.
In this piece I wanted the banshee to wail searching for ghosts trying to hide from hell so to speak. It can go however your mind reads it I guess.

Thank you. I think darkness has the capacity to mesmerize in a powerful gripping way.
Don't get me wrong - beautiful stuff can too - but after a while
(for me)  kinda boring. And I say that with much respect to beauty - but I feel the need to explore and write something different.  
See if I can make it alluring with undertones of - you better watch your step!!!. hahaha

I agree, I think Banshee's get a bum deal in their appearance. I think of them more like sylphs, they’re not, but I like to change it up. For me, and entirely aside from your intended meaning, this represented how I can often times feel like a ghost. I know I’m alive but only in body. My soul and desires are completely ghostly and in the wind. I totally dig this piece. I love how you’ve intertwined the mythology with some reality as metaphor. Great write as per. H🌷

This is awesome!  A great "character build", being the subject and not just writing about it.  Makes me wonder, though, what motivated you to pick such a subject?   Are you raging and this is escape.  Or is it just creative writing?  Hmm?

It's Halloween - diving into scary stuff. haha
When I heard the song's chorus of the  
Reverend on the radio. In my mind I thought of a Banshee
wailing like a reverend of death - singing to her ghosts. hahaha

How to answer the questions? hummmm?  
I'll give it a shot. Here it goes.

It's a trait I'm cursed with - always in the mind set to create something original and true to visions I see when daydreaming.
Has nothing to do with me but at the same time is me. As a writer I have that little tick going on internally - whispering - what else ya got. Show me. Write me. Make it manifest into our words. It's very empowering to feel at times. To know I can do this on my own:)
Music keeps me company and unlocks that door of creativity.
I'm actually writing my next piece about that subject titled
Vortex of Visions.  Super duper excited!!

Hope that sums it up.

Hey girl, I am so far behind on reading and everything else here. :( Things have been very difficult lately but I am finally trying to get back to it. I know I have a lot I have missed but anyway I will start here. :) I totally agree, I find the banshee mesmerizing and so many depictions do have that alluring and powerful quality about them. I definitely think it's sexy; long flowing hair, long thin fingers with sharp claws and empty eyes surrounded by darkness with pale white skin... What's not to love. :p Actually I think being a banshee for Halloween would be great come to think of  it. lol I love how you are embracing Halloween. I definitely feel like I am missing out on reading some awesome stuff at one of my favorite times of the year normally. This definitely has your amazing style and way of bringing things to life, even a banshee. The imagery is always spectacular and really pulls you in and you are super creative. I so look forward to Vortex of Visions. Just knowing you are excited has me really excited. :p

Ah yes, my friend. the exquisite mating of banshee and grim reaper. It takes a brilliant mind to see the similarities and craft a grand poem that accentuates those wonderfully drawn points that unite them into one being. This is true poetry of the kind that scintillates the mind into seeing beyond the ordinary. Truly wondrous my friend and a poem to remember.
