I can hear this as a country tune. The lyrics are genuinely touching. I do so enjoy your romantic side.
The painting is also lovely. The black stripe on the bottom reminds me of the outside of a grand piano. I love the brightness of the green against the mauve and grey colors. Huge Dig! H🌷

Yup it was Glen Campbell, written by Jim Webb, an composer Glen often worked with.

Glen Campbell had an easy way about him.
Really a legend

yes and some don't realize how versatile his guitar work was. Played sessions with the Beach Boys and could play the bagpipes.

Saw a documentary about him a few years ago.
Just seemed like a loving guy with a good family.
A sweet voice that will be remembered forever...
