The Witch Patch pg 7
Family Matters
After listening to Honoria’s ghastly premonitions, we invited her to stay and sit with us for dessert.
A fresh pot of coffee is brewing in the kitchen and smells incredible. We love coffee with our pie or cobbler.
"Yeah wow, it’s been way too long since last we visited, said Delilah. Honoria bowed her head as if to say I am regretful for the long absence and silence between us. ( Honoria can be quite shy at times without even trying )
Delilah got up from the table and walked over to our beloved cousin and gave her the a hug and a kiss on her cheek. “Honoria returned the kindness showing true affection ans poke up “yes” it’s been far too long cousin, then looks around at everyone and says, my family, my dear sweet family I have missed you all so much.”
“And we have to missed you too” said Fabian, then slides a nice slice of blueberry cobbler toward Honoria. She smiled while thanking her cousin an took a bite, then washed it down with a gulp of coffee. Delicious she said, then took another bite.
“Cousin?” asks Fabian, is there anything else you can tell us about these flash visions you’ve been having?" "Any idea when the fires will happen?"
“No cousin” she replies, that part is unclear.
“However, brace yourselves— “I did see dead bodies all around Broomhila’s!”
"Honoria!" wtf?! “Is it our bodies?!” spat Fabian, “Fabian” calm down— “I snapped!”
"Whoa! “ stallion—whoa!" urged Michael, like a cowboy wrangler would say Michael even used an accent and did a cowboy quick trot!
“Everyone busts out laughing except Fabian.
( private joke between him and Michael )
"Knock it off!” Michael barked Fabian,
“I couldn't help but laugh again. Michael is funny as hell in the most impromptu and inappropriate moments.
“Fabian clears his husky throat then gently reaches for cousin Honoria's hand and gently pulls her towards him into a hug. "I’m sowrrry” he said with a pouty face — “ forgive me?” Of course said Honoria, but still looked a bit shocked—
Please said Fabian again, forgive my crass outburst Honoria, and gives her a another hug and smooch on top of her head.
"Ryder, go up to the solarium and get the book, then meet us all in the parlor for brandy and smoke, instructed Fabian.
"Ok," gotcha, "Stallion” laughed Ryder.
“Hey-Hey-now— said Fabian but then chuckled. Ryder then took off to go get the spell book. Everyone else headed to the parlor per Fabian‘s request.
Rocky and Velvet were chit chatting among themselves, about who-knows-what, as we walked to the parlor , those two afe always in their own little world as they often do. Did I mention Rocky and Velvet are twins? yup it's true, they have that wicked special bond that only twins share and are connected intuitively.
During the 30 foot walk to the parlor Honoria said "watch out for your blueberry and raspberry bushes!" Those damn Flannigan brothers are up to their old ticks again! I saw them plucking a bunch of old lady Murdoch's blackberries on my walk here, damn bastard fuckers!
*Velvet Gasps out— “H o n o r i a !”
and we all had a good hard laugh!
After dessert Raven was sent to shower and get ready for bed, and if she wants too, watch one 19 minute episode of Miraculous on Netflix and then lights out.
